Some of us solo all of the time as people we know don't play games.

That contradicts my statement how exactly? I gave my opinions on the followers and also that group play is far more rewarding. And, even if you don't have friends, there are communities in game now. That makes it very easy to find people who also are looking to group.

If you prefer to play solo, what I said still applies (as the bonus to crit or damage when crit, followed by the heal and tanking ability are better than the enchantress).

I am only 150, but that is because I put a lot of time into my barb and just never played the other characters until much later. My wizard was perma stun CM with 250k DPS and I had maybe 40 hours played on it. I also had two monks, both around 40 paragon. I ended up really disliking the way the female monk looked, so I rerolled.

My barb had the most time (followed by my DH, which I played maybe once or twice after paragons were released) and so I didn't get a ton of levels over 100 after this update. =(

The enchantress used to be okay, because you could give her a legendary staff that had magic find. However, now, it sucks. I suppose the 3% APS might be a little helpful, but I'd think either the crit or the heal would be better overall from the other two followers. Plus, you can tank up the Templar (mine has like 125k HP) and he can take a lot of heat off you if you're a ranged character.

i use the ehchantress on my wiz when running the forzen orb build. she has a azurwrath with 15% chance to freeze and attacks insanly fast. works out pretty nicely running the freeze everything build

could do the same with a BDK on the scoundral with high% if you are lucky enough to have one

There are situations where the enchantress can be useful, however, those aren't as many as the scoundrel, IMO. Sure, a high % BDK is hard to come by for new players, but a Hellrack isn't. And that might not have the same chance to immobilize, it isn't entirely worthless. Or, even a WF with some APS rings / amulet will have a decent amount of knockback (plus the blind and now nerfed multishot). You also get the damage buff.

Before, monster health went up but damage did not go up near as much as it does now. That's the difficulty in the higher Torment levels: absorbing the +2540% damage.

Blizzard can't balance things these days without jacking numbers to astronomical values.

Don't sell your gold. You will need it in RoS. Unless you quit. Save up at LEAST 100million, trust me you will need it.

EDIT - I'm Paragon 300 woop woop~

I am doing the challenge achievements achievements and am now down to two. I need to kill 25k trees and and then the other one has become a pain in the butt to get, killing Azmodan before any demon gates spawn troopers while the game is on Master or higher.

My Monk has 242k dps buffed with Scoundrel and still can't do it. I got my friend to come on his Archon Wizard and still could not get it. The gates spawn adds fast.
