I am thinking about swapping up my bell move on my monk for another spirit generator to get the extra damage with the passive. Does it continuously stack or do I need to keep using it over and over? Like, say I start a fight with one, and then use first of thunder for the remainder of the time, does the 3s refresh when every time I use FoT, or must I use the additional one every 3 seconds?
 
Back to leveling my Barb, I stalled on 85.

I took a break from it and leveled all the other classes to 60 again. I deleted my second Wizard to make room for my second Barb. Achievements YAY ! (4420 achievement points)

Now, if I could just get the guts to finish my HC level 52 Barb in Hell Act 1. For some reason, I have been lagging like crazy on Diablo for a long time. No other game is this bad.

all our gear is pretty much worthless now?
ugh

Doubt it is worthless, but better gear will be available. I do feel bad for those that used the RMAH though. I can't imaging spending $250 on something just to have to not be very good soon.

Also, with the itemization patch, new legendaries may be better anyway, if they have good things to roll, but are now only level 30.

Great! I am going to tweak my build some. I could probably drop Serenity as well.

wahh i just died on my level 44 monk... using the dashing strike to snare an elite and my screen freezes as the animation first loads for that skill and i die in a fire wall in act 3 nightmare... fuck me

I never understood the need for Serenity, personally. SSS does the same thing and does damage. I use it if I can't get out of range from frozen orbs, molten death explosions, arcane spinner thicke, etc.. Plus, the aptly named Pandemonium rune is so amazingly useful for anything that can't stand still or for interrupting enemy abilities that are particularly troublesome. 🙂

Grats, man! Anytime you see me on, I'll definitely run with ya. I admit I haven't been playing much, but I still enjoy doing runs.

With the latest expansion announcement, I'm considering actually forcing myself to play another character in hopes they'll combine the total exp on the account. Maybe I'll just level another monk, lol.

I might give that a try. I really only pop serenity when I feel like DPSing through frozen or something especially annoying happens (4 arcane beams converge on my face).
 
I've always found SSS lackluster as a panic button and even a dps skill. The invulnerability lasts a second, it leaves you in the same spot, and most importantly you're not using spirit generators which are not triggering LoH and SW. I'd rather pop Serenity and spam my mantra for +24% more damage output. Also, runing Serenity for group invulnerability is just too good when fighting nasty elite affixes.

True you're locked in when you hit SSS, but like I said, that Pandemonium rune is amazing. Seven second stun is basically death to any enemies with the right group. You can mitigate a lot of damage with that thing. 😉
 
True. The stun is pretty silly if you are in the right group. But I gave up on my monk ages ago and decided to play WD, the most OP of the OP classes atm lol.
 
Well, I am glad Blizzard decided to make an expansion instead of fixing the rubberbanding on barbs. =( I remember why I stopped playing this char.
 
yea i dided 3 times in the past hour because of that

I have found a small way to help with the rubber banding, your fury bubble. If your fury is not going down and you start to lag, start smashing HotA (or your primary attack) and try running a little back to where you came from. This has saved me several times.
 
What MP do you usually run?

Usually MP8.

I'll play anything from 5-10 though.

Last night I was in a pub game on mp8 and it was taking forever to clear things. I checked the other guys' dps and the most powerful one was 82k dps. I had more dps than the other 3 combined.
 
Holy geez... Just did all of the halls in act 1 on mp8 and it took forever. After we beat the butcher I checked the other guys' stats.

70k dps WD
51k dps monk

And the WD was plvl 75.
 
Well I did 2 runs through a1 with mp5 and got 8 legendaries. I make anubis jelly

Ya people do that assuming someone like you will carry them silverpig
 
How many were worth using?

I've got a lvl 60 Barb (zero paragon), a lvl 60 WD (5 paragon), and a lvl 53 DH. I haven't played in months, but thought about trying things out for a bit. I have barely over half a million in my stash. I don't plan on using the RM AH at all, and I will likely only solo.

Which character is going to serve me best for now?
