Anyone have any suggestions for my
Wizard? Trying to boost DPS but there's only a handful of things I can switch and by doing do I seem to lose a chunk of life (like my belt and shoulders).
First of all, you will die to reflect damage packs with zero LS at even moderate MP levels let alone MP5+. You're not even running the blood magic rune, change that. Wizards cannot move though maps as fast as barbarians, they lack +MS skills like RLTW and archons have to stop to shoot the laser. So farming higher MP levels in the way to go.
You have two options to deal with reflect damage. Start stacking physical resistance gear or get a lifesteal weapon.
You need around 1700 physical resistance with prismatic armor in archon to deal with RD with no lifesteal, which means almost every piece of gear needs physical resist and all resist. This may sound difficult, but than you can get a nice non-LS weapon with huge DPS, CD, and a socket like an Echoing Fury.
The second option is to get a life steal weapon with at least 1.4 APS so wand or sword (or an extremely powerful 1.3 APS weapon).
Regardless of which route you want to take, you need a new weapon. Make sure it is a black damage weapon (non-elemental, only +Min/Max, +%Dmg), with at least CD and a socket if you can afford it (you wont be able to find a CD, Socket, LS damage cheap).
Get rid of the Chantodo's offhand for at least a 6/6/5 Triumvirate with 200+ average damage, 250 int, and a bonus stat of vit, socket, etc.
Get at least 40 average damage on your Tal Rasha's amulet, must be a 6% damage one. (End game is CC, CD, AS/AD)
Get at least 40 average damage on your Zuni Pox. (End game is CC, CD, AS/AD)
Get some Lacuni's, the 12% MS is too important. If you can't afford CC, get AR.
AR or physical resist Witching Hour with at least 9% AS and 44 CD.
AR Tal Rasha's chest is huge DPS, big money.
Your boots are nice, might be worthwhile to look at some Zuni boots though with at least 180 int and 6% damage. You will gain the 3 piece set bonus as well. So you can skip getting AR there and only look for physical resist.
You do not need 92K life if properly geared with solid AR and physical resist so you can lose a lot of that and still be ok.
Stacking all the "adds 6% damage", plus the average damage, plus the added CD, all on a black damage weapon will mean big gains.
