Alot of people on CAG seem to have it already. Consensus seems to be that the mp > Halo3. I'll have it tomorrow.

I know the guy on ATOS said before that he found COD4 more fun than Halo.

No single player co-op?

Fuck that man. Single player is always more fun when you have a friend who plays better than the brain dead AI.

so my friend just told me you can't do split screen multi-player & go online. is that true? if so that's a big blow to my hopes🙁

I liked the beta mp more than halo mp.

so far single player is awesome.

i have just 1 gripe though.

it's hard to tell who the hell is on your team sometimes when you are aiming at people. i wish it was a little more apparent than this green text that comes up (not even every time) and when in night vision it's hard to see the text sometimes.

SP is pretty fun. I finished the War Pig level before I stopped.

I can't seem to get under 20 seconds for the tutorial achievement but I keep trying because even that is fun lol. Closest I got was 24.

This is a great game so far. Linear? yes...very but that is ok sometimes.

I can't pull myself away from the MP...Got 5 other friends on and we're doing the big team battle thing...so much fun 😀

I haven't gone too far into SP yet, but its been amazing so far. Played some MP, and ranked up to Corporal or something. Thats been pretty good so far. I like to run around with guns blazing. The only thing that really annoys me is the perk where when people die, they drop a nade. SOOO ANNOYING.

Is there a list somewhere of how to unlock everything?

My biggest gripe about the game is sprinting. Who's stupid idea was to bind sprinting to pressing down on the left joystick...the same joystick you need to move when you run. It is needlessly difficult when you have to hold down the joystick but at the same time expected to tilt it to move. I know there are other configurations for the controller but they kind of suck compared to the default/tactical layout.

umm you don't tilt the left analog to turn, you move the right analog stick to turn. you use the left analog to strafe, and if you try to strafe while running you stop running, which is good because you ever tried to run sideways? yah it doesn't work.

i think the sprint in this game is probably the best running functionality in a shooter to date. it works great and feels natural to me because you just press it in, then push the analog stick forward to run.

I find it difficult to press down on an analog stick while pushing it any direction. It usually releases it when I do that. I've played a couple games that do it...it's not the best, but it's not horrible once you get used to it.

hmmm i've never had a problem doing that. maybe it's just cause i've been using it since the xbox days.

Agreed with hans. Sorry, purbeast, but I have to go against you on this one. I hate having to click down the analog stick and then use the same stick to run. It's the same with crouching in Halo, it's hard to crouch and move at the same time (but atleast they give you the option to make the stick press a toggle instead of a hold-to-activate feature).

My copy just shipped from gamefly. If i like it ill keep it.

I am trying to get it from gamefly today. I bought the orange box last week, and guess what game they shipped me before I had a chance to take it out of my game list... orange box!
I plan on buying cod4 since I get 10% off the games and I have a 5.00 gamefly coupon. Should be about $40 I guess.

i guess I just got used to it in the beta, but initially I had forgotten about it sinc I've bee nplayin halo 3 🙂

also I keep throwing grenades on accident when trying to reload :|

I played MP last night, didn't get to SP, I was having way too much fun with MP. I think I may get hooked on the MP, I really like the idea of getting upgrades for leveling up. I've really enjoyed it so far, personally I think the MP is better then Halo.

the mission where you're gunning with the a130 is amazing. if u thought tv guiding in bf2 was fun, think of this as 1,000x better!

yeah sprinting sucks when you're trying to steer while clicked in with the stick.

you guys do know that you don't have to hold it in to run, just click it once and it starts the sprint. 🙂
