Heh, played the demo last night with my logitech cam installed. Each takedown I received got a middle finger salute in return..!

The Best Buy website indicates that it is in stock in my area when I select in-store pick up.

This... game... is... HUGE!

I played for like an hour and a half, got my license upgraded twice and I have about ten cars unlocked now...

And I've only been through like a quarter of Paradise city. It blows my mind how big this game is.

It's AMAZING! Buy it!

The only thing making me question picking up my preorder today is that if I don't do well in an event and want to restart it, that should be an option without driving back to it.

Skate had it why can't this game.

Toys R Us had it in stock, so I got it at lunch.

I decided to be brave and went to a EB (it's just a few blocks away and is the closest place to get games). They had several copies (PS3) in stock--but I had to go through the 20 questions dance.

OOOhh I hate that..

In return, I give them an equally annoying speech about how I dont preorder anymore since they screwed me over on the 360.

I pre-ordered in June, and didn't get the system until the end of the following February, all the while they were using their limited supply to sell overpriced bundles online.

I had time to play it for about a half hour this morning... when the intro video played, there's a female talking you through your 'orientation', which I was like "Wow! No DJ Atomica!" but then when the game starts, its him again. Boo. Anyways, I spent some time driving around the city and did two events, won my Class D license and a new car. Game is huge... as promised by Criterion, load times are non-existent except at the beginning. I love it so far.

I was skeptical but I am really glad I bought this.

The city is immense.

The races are fun. Only problem being that there is no restart.

The explanations on some things are very unclear at least to me. I don't know what any of the following are or how to start them.

Showtime, Road Rule, parking?


Still very fun. I got my class C license and unlocked like 6 cars. The sense of speed is really awesome.

I really want this, but I have so many games that I've barely touched since Christmas... I think I'll hold off until I can get it for $40 somewhere. Maybe by then they will have patched in a "Restart" option.

By habit, after I completely mucked up my route on a Burning Route race this morning, I hit start to try and restart... While I was like "oh yeah, no restart" I didn't really mind much.

I did really mind not having it at some points. I'd finish second and figured out what I needed to do but then I don't even remember where the race started...

But overall this game is pretty epic so far. I never played the old ones so I can't compare but no game has given me that sense of speed with so many "oh sh*t" moments. My adrenaline was flowing from a video game and it felt good.
