I really don't see anything greatly interesting - the Compusa 9.99 belkin g router looks OK for my parents and the $50 leather jacket at Sears..and the $9.99 Chronicles of Riddick from EB, but that's it!

Staples has an I/OMagic 16X Dual Layer for ~40 before tax while OM has a Digital Max 16X dual layer for the same price.

Anyone know what these *really* are and which would be better?

Wow CC has a 250gig WD for $80 ar. Damnit now I gotta change all my plans. Also, Can anyone verify the manufacturer of the I/O Magic DVD burner at staples and the Digital Max DVD burner in OMax? I want to decide which one to go for.

Is it me or do the Fry's black friday deals... suck?

nope not you.

heck the prices for some items atleast in the bay area today are even cheaper than for BF.

but here's hoping the listings are wrong.

like the best buy selling an amd emachine with lcd. the actual ad doesn't even have it.

Did anyone tried buying the stuff day before BB and going back the next day to exchange the product and got the cheaper price or they wont let you do it. What happens if the rebate is instant ??

Go Ahead Willbemcse.

You MIGHT get lucky...

Most BB's will not open the returns department until 12. Which means the BF sales are OVER.

I have the ad for Fry's from todays Chicago Sun Times, the only good deal is a 50" DLP HDTV with integrated tuner for $1899. It doesn't say the brand, just Major Name Brand.

Just another reason to Boycott Home Depot. Big time GOP backers.

i'm sorry, but anyone who boycotts a company because of such things should just end himself. i'll give you a clue: unless the company is in a really heavily democrat controlled area they're probably going to be 'GOP backers' because the GOP holds a lot of powerful positions nationally. if and when the democrats take back a bunch of power you'll see their donations go up accordingly.

parents want a ~$50 or less dvd player that will play everything (including jpgs)... which is the best offer on one ?

Is that the ad for Black Friday or just today?
