NOVEMBER 19TH, 2004 : I got sued by Home Depot. Took down their items, people told me they were crappy prices anyway. Would it be wrong to post his information here?

This thread will serve more as a FAQ and discussion, with each store having their own thread because putting all the BF store deals in one thread would be crazy.

Black Friday FAQ
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is the day AFTER Thanksgiving. This is usually the day that kicks off Winter/Christmas sales, so most stores have their best deals today. Usually such great deals that people will camp out overnight to be sure to get whatever is on sale. Is it worth the $50 in savings? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's how much you value your time. It's one thing to wait to get the item, it's another thing to have to wait in line to actually purchase that item.

So, are these really what's on sale? How do I take advantage of this knowledge?
First off, the items posted to be on sale are just *cough*rumors. For legal purposes, they are just pure speculation *cough**cough* But don't be too surprised if you find out that the ad matches what is on this page With this information, avoid the holiday rush and waking up before 5am to get that certain item. Simply go to the store before Thanksgiving, buy the item, then on Black Friday (November 26th) go into the store and price-match (buy and rebuy) your item back for the new advertised price. Make sure you buy your item near Black Friday though, because some stores have policies where they will only match their own price 30 days after you bought the item. Not a huge deal now, but for future reference.

buying it lets say.. wednesday the 24th.... then going back on the 26th to pricematch the item to the advertised black friday price?
 
I like how these sites like to call themselves the "official" BF site. Err, ok? I've just declared myself the Official mascot of Christmas! I said I'm official, so it must be true 😉

Must you bitch and moan about everything. The mods don't want me linking my site, and I can see the point behind that. So, unless you want one unorganized thread for all the Black Friday deals, go away troll.
 
I've been getting in on the black friday deals for years now, there always seem to be some really good prices in there for a couple of things. This year seems different though, I haven't seen anything yet that makes me think "wow, that's a really hot deal, I should jump on that". In fact, many of the "deals" aren't very good at all. Maybe Circuit City will have something good, or maybe BB will add more stuff than what's currently known.

Am I the only one that's somewhat disappointed with this year's crop of BF deals?? 😕

<edit> This is not meant as a thread crap, I appreciate getting the scoop on the deals early so we can snag the ones we want.

Agreed. I mean, don't get me wrong, CC has a pretty hot deal on a laptop, there is that hard drive at OM, and there are some frree after rebate CD-R's I want to pick up, but I am still waiting for a deal on an LCD monitor.... please oh please let some store have a really hot deal on a passable 17"
