Doesn't work for you? I might consider running one once I get my FC4 box set up.

Since I'm pretty new to fansubbed anime (the last 6 months or so), can someone explain to me why some shows are brief (12 eps) or only run for one season (26 eps), others go for 2, and still others (Naruto etc) go on and on? Is there any real reason? Will we ever see "another" Air or Mai Hime?
sometimes they only have enough manga to run only 13 or 26 eps like School Rumble.
sometimes theres no money to run a second season, they cancel or soemthing.
sometimes they don't know how well it would be received so they only schedule 13 eps
Naruto and Inuyasha and remember Ranma? have enough popularity and enough manga to run for more than a season.

I guess my real question is: after shows as popular as Air and Mai Hime (and other short ones that escape me), why don't they make more? I mean it would seem to me that the six billion Gundam episodes aren't based off of mangas.

Has anyone else watched Souse No Aquarion? I'm thinking about starting it up, but wanted a few opinions before I did.
EDIT: Just started GSD 35, and all I have to say is :Q at Ep 34.

36 and 37 have been pretty weak if you ask me. Although the rose petal thing was funny. Nanao seems like an ice queen.

It's weak because they're slowing down a loooooot... they around chapter 106 in the manga. If they were going to slow down this much I wish they wouldn't have skipped some stuff in the previous episodes back when they were in the normal world...![]()

I love this one, too bad it's giving me cravings for GOOD asian style bread that I can't get here. And DC is 2 hours drive away.

take a look at detective conan.. 400+ eps. are all those based off of mangas? i've watched a few episodes, but is it really that good for such a long series..

Damn Bleach... I knew this would happen... Now that they've followed chad their gonna follow the other guy and girl (Inoue) (dont know their names cause they've gotten no screen time in ages). But damn I want to see the fight between Ichigo and the captain. I also wish the usual outlets for Bleach manga would fricken post their bleach manga. (older stuff, I want to read ahead)

lol, ya, eerily, yet funny. it was almost like a mime duel.
btw: i dunno if it's too much to ask, but maybe recommend if somebody does know the answer, just ask for a PM.
side note: I guess nobody really cares about Spoiler Alert's![]()
