I don't think WF ever did the TV Ep 1 & 2, I think it was dash (-) fansubs that did them, they stopped after it was licensed.

i was under the impression they were all TV..
22 was just recently released.

oh btw: speaking of Gundam, I was at an anime store few days ago and found gundam 0083 and 0080 on VHS. 0080 is called War Pocket. and 0083 is StarDust Memory. (that's to answer a question a few pages back on this thread)

They are... except for 1-2. I don't think they started subbing School Rumble until Ep 3. I guess they don't have the raws of 1 & 2 or chose not to use it.

does anyone here play Melth Blood Re:Act? I am ashamed to call myself a MBR player with my piss poor skills, but i win most rounds against my roomates and friends who hang out at our place. there are two huge threads on this game over at shoryuken.com, if anyone is interested. graphically, this is by far the best fighting game available on computers. there are some gripes about balancing issues and the game doesnt get as much props as Eternal Fighter Zero, but it definitely deserves a look. The characters are from the famed gyaruge Tsukihime and features two original characters, sion (and the vampire version) and warakia.

I believe that's "War in the Pocket.'

isn't the anime suppose to be catching up with the manga? how can it afford to have fillers? it would lag further behind right?

they don't want the anime to catch up. if it does, then they can't use the manga as a guide for the anime story.

Edit: When the anime starts running astray from the manga is when the anime usually starts suckage, ala Kenshin Season 3, Naruto current episodes, some parts of Marmalade Boy, etc.

in the case of naruto, they've been following the manga pretty closely, and people say that the author doesn't have time to supervise two different story lines (if the anime were to diverge from the manga). there have been cases where the anime and manga have been very different, and it's worked out okay. i never read the FMA manga, but i thought the anime was good and they're pretty different.

It's also a marketing ploy. If the anime went ahead of the manga, then no one would want to read the manga since its just a poor, unanimated version of what you've already seen. This way, people will buy the manga to see what happens next then watch on tv when it airs. $$$
