Which is why BF2 encouraged you to not die and stay with the squad in the first place.
So BF3 is encouraging me to die?

I dont want to die, ever, but when I do I want to get right back in there and avenge myself.

Have you played with public squads? Im lucky to find one guy worth spawning on out of 32 players!

It's obvious they don't really care about who writes on the forums. And I've read them, they're full of people who tell others to QQ that a feature is broken.

If Dice actually cared about what people say, they would take out this retarded blue filter at the VERY LEAST, and add in VOIP, some of the most requested changes. Also fix the damn console UI to make it something less retarded and consoley. These are the most basic issues that EVERYONE has issues with, but they don't change/add in.

Love how you ignored my questions about providing feedback on their forums. GTFO of this thread. The game has been out for almost a year and is not going to change for you. Take it or leave it. And obviously, you've left it.

And has been mentioned already, if you weren't such a little twat. You would be part of a gaming community or friends with people here that you could squad up with, be on TS with, have input on a server's settings to get a play style that you might enjoy. Nope, you're just a lone wolf noob cry baby.

Well, after giving it a bit more chance, I've determined that Armored Kill is pure shit. It's just garbage in every conceivable way, and attracts the worst statwhores I've ever seen. People drop from the losing side, so autobalance takes some of the players from the winning team that joined last. They don't want to play on the losing side, so they switch back, only to be rebalanced. Then they leave the server, wait for some fodder to join the losing team, then rejoin to play on the winning team again. If they can't do that, they simply leave. But yeah, I've yet to see a good match on any AK map, it's always been an absolutely staggering blowout. And the tank destroyers are the most idiotic vehicle I've ever seen in a game like this.

I'm finding it quite fun. I've played about a dozen rounds and only one round was the game one-sided. I've only played in Conquest mode so far.

Noshar Canals is still king for TDM.

Ive been enjoying some tank superiority. Its hilarious to be on foot in a crater 20 feet from the flag and no one notices you. They roll in to cap, their tank gets set ablaze, they jump out, I kill them and recap the flag. BAHAHAHAHA

Hehe, so many scrubs complaining about AK. 90% of the gripes I read in this threads stem from people sucking at the game or not know what the fuck they're suppose to be doing so instead they cry about how it's the game's fault.

Yes, the maps are big. That was the whole idea from the beginning when they announced it. It's a different flavor from the current roster of maps. Instead of complaining that you have to do a lot of running from one point to another, how about realizing that large maps like this, you have to be more conscious in where you attack next or bunker down to defend.

That's one thing that I really like about these new maps, is that you must be more conscientious of where you need to be next to minimize travel time and maximize your usefulness to the team. Most of the whiners seem to me are just little scrubs who runs around gun blazing Call of Duty style that get butthurt when they realize they are failing because the game actually require a bit of brain power and strategic thinking.

Argh, we still haven't teamed up in the new mode. I'll try to be in on the weekend. It sounds like fine.

For the other modes, I've found my niche taking up the stinger and AT mines to defend the 130 cap point. I really like the changes to the Flares/stinger as I actually have a chance now if I have the explosives perk and an ammo box.

I was in a PUG server and on a team that was 100-200 points down in the harvest map. We turned it around by having a squad keeping the 130 cap point. This allowed for the other squads to freely cap of the other ones without worrying about fire from above.

Hello!

As anyone following me on twitter (twitter.com/gustavhalling) knows I have been very busy collecting feedback about the gunship in Rush the last 2 weeks and we have already made improvements yesterday, changing its spawntime from 60 to 90 seconds.

I am not finished yet however and late next week (19-20th) we are pushing out a new server with these tweaks.

Gunship initial spawntime tweaked from 15 to 60 seconds
■This will fix the issue where gunship gunners can target defenders before the round starts


Gunship spawntime tweaked from 90 seconds to 120 seconds.
■This will give defenders more time to “breath” before the gunship is respawned again.


Gunship “moving forward” delay between bases tweaked from 15 to 30 seconds
■This will fix the issue where the attackers can parachute drop to the next base before the defenders can reach it


This is the 2nd step in balancing up the game mode which proves that the community are just much better at owning up on the servers than our in-house testing is =)

There is no shame in saying that the Gunship have been overpowered after launch but its not because we dont test it before hand.
As always even that we test 5 days a week at DICE + 60-80 QA for months YOU guys/girls play more hours together the first 2 hours after we release a new expansion!

They may be skilled, don't necessarily need to discredit them. It may be like he said: the community itself is just so vast, with really really good players out there, that... given anything, they will find how to extract every ounce of benefit. Plus, combine many full servers with a lot of unskilled players, it may be easier to find what is OP. The testers may have a fairly average skill level, so when put together, it might be harder to find the balance issues in the end.

I didn't say the game is fine and there are a lot of aspects of the game I wouldn't mind seeing improvements on, but it's not as gloom and doom or broken as you whiney little girls make it out to be. And that's also the beauty of an online game. DICE have been releasing patches every few months since the game's release to try and address the concerns of the community, and like someone said, it's not that easy to create balance in the game when the community is so diverse. We have crying little girls with their petty grievances that tend to overshadow the more valid concerns.

And why would my battlelogs prove anything about you sucking? I don't even know you.

Knowing how hard it is to QA a big multiplayer project, that statement is not exactly true. Destrekor said the main point of what I was going to reply back with.

QA also doesn't play the game the entire shift, the majority of the time is usually for seeing if fixes for bug actually are fixed and finding if the fixes break anything else. Though, BF3 may have had a dedicated team for that, I'm not exactly privy to their testing structure.

The public testing is key for any balance changes.

YES! Someone who understands that the AC130 base is a must capture and hold point. I should be able to play some through out the day but the wife has made plans for Saturday night. The plans suck but I may get rewarded afterwards.... at least thats how I always get suckered into these things. :D

All of that is besides the point, hehe. I'm just saying if people would cry less and play more, they'd probably enjoy the game much much more. In all my history of gaming, and all the countless games that i put massive amount of hours into, none of them were exactly what I wanted a game to be. The beauty of being a (true) gamer is to be able to adapt. And again, I want to reiterate that there are valid complaints about the game, but a lot of what i see on this forums are really just a bunch of people not playing the game properly and blaming their shortcomings on the game itself.

I notice that people have been roadkilling me way much more than ever in AK, either tanks, ATVs, jeeps, whatever, I've been getting my ass run over a lot more as I'm either trying to lay mines down or trying to shoot down an air target with my stinger. Gets pretty frustrating and downright embarrassing, so should I go and petition for the forums to have the game patched so it's easier to jump out of the way of people trying to run me over?

It's called playing with friends who know what they're doing. And yes, we were on a win streak. We also get on lose streaks as well, and that's when we all call it a night and go to sleep.

Know what's worse than being blinded by some retard with a tac light in day light, or by the sun glare? Being blinded by MOON GLARE AT NIGHT. There are no NVG's, so there is zero chance this happens. That is probably the most idiotic thing I have every encountered in any game. Dice is so obsessed with light, and blinding people with it. It's so far over used. I better quit talking about it, I feel myself about to rage :/

Hehe, I will say that DICE toned it down with the glare a bit with this map pack compared to previous, but yes, is it even possible to get glare from the moon?
