Shame, they really needed to add a manual laze option for the SOFLAM. Give me manual control over it, able to paint whatever I want. Soooo much better than what it does now.

I just hope they fixed the radio spire in Caspian. As long as no one can sit on the top untouched, and people can't hide behind force field railings, I'll be happy. Such an easy, easy fix...
 
flash suppressor is useful now and the stinger/igla updates look decent at a glance, range really reduced, no locking on everything in karg/firestorm from the furthest away caps

What is the function of the flash suppressor? You still show up on the mini map when you fire but it reduces the actual visible flash?

Are the stinger/igla more effective now? I thought I read they were getting a buff.
 
RPGs are nice because they are versatile but you really, really can't compare them to soflam+jav. If this encourages more soflam I'm good. 🙂

HALLELUJAH! So tired of begging for soflam on large conquest maps.

And the RPG doesnt do a thing to stop chopper rape. I dont use Soflam to kill tanks at close range, I use mines. Ive dropped them on tanks chasing me, run up buildings and dropped them in midair and have them fall in the tank path, etc. And yes, I will walk right up to an occupied tank and box it in with mines almost faster than the driver can react. Then I'll step back and Jav it to make them move.

Just played some Firestorm and couldnt move in a vehicle without being lased and locked onto.

One hit by a stinger seemed to take out my heli every time.

Cant tell any difference in the time it takes to come out of prone. BOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I CAN SEE MY OWN PING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Don't know if it's placebo, but game feels a lot smoother and more fluid to me as far as framerates and performance.

Minimap is cool and the changed colors look good. Tanks now light up like a soflam when you're using CITV. Also, new sound effects in chopper when you take damage, new blow up animation on chopper and tanks as far as I've seen, new rocket animation, missiles lock and launch in about a second, and yes you can in fact fly thru poles now. W00t 😀 I've only done chopper flying so far, not sure about anything else.

I know there's another thread on this issue, but the OP is not updating his thread, that's really quite annoying to myself. I'll also create a Google Doc page, where we can submit changes.

Undocumented changes, submitted by Reddit.

1.Can make more than 8 squads.
2.Colorblindness mode extends to the minimap.
3.Minimap settings are saved between deaths.
4.TV missile seems to kill tanks in one shot (going to test this more, I've killed three).
5.All smoke trails seems to be different.
6.Loadouts reset for everything on all classes.

8.new more crisp sound for M98B sniper riffle.
9.Minimap opacity is now exposed.
10.New effects for rockets and missiles from heli.
11.Gunner on the LAV/Tank has a heavier sound.

13.Helicopters are hard to keep in the air for any amount of time (though this could be from people using stingers and IGLAs to test them out).
14..44 magnum has a different sound.
15.Both stationary and mobile AA have much more visible tracers.
16.Helicopter Air to Air missles appear to have no effect on jets, exploding before impact every single time.
17.Base anti air now has Air radar.
18.Minimap seems to be slightly bigger.
19.Color blind mode outlines icons on the minimap.
20.Friendly laser no longer blinds you (same for flashlight?).
21.Blue tint toned down by quite and bit and contrast increased.

Correct, but flash supressor also gives a large vertical recoil reduction (twice as much as a silencer). So it may be the best choice for MG's, PDW's, SCAR, G3, and anything else on CQB levels. It no longer has an accuracy penalty either so it should be the "default" barrel attachment to use if you don't want a heavy barrel, silencer, laser or tac light.

This sounds pretty annoying. Why is it necessary to click another button to reload? Kinda dumb.

Edit: I just played a game and didn't have any problems reloading while ADS..

Gah, time to relearn the timings. Also, with the L61, make sure you turn off the laser sight if you have a 8x scope equipped. You will get the normal reticule and the laser dot a centemetre below the actual centre.
 
Um...I just got into a Growler, drove it a few feet and jumped out...it exploded in about 10 seconds. Is that intended? I did it twice, no mistake. You can't leave a vehicle unattended at all?

I use the RPG to stop choppers too. Not too hard to hit them.
 
You can fly through poles from half way and up

*Tears* :'(... tried this yesterday and it worked... if anyone has seen me fly jets and chopters most of my deaths are from crashing into poles. Those poles were too OP!😛

It's always been like that... you can't leave vehicles unattended for too long that is not in the vehicles original spawn points. Or when you cap a spawn the enemies vehicle blow up and gets replaced by your teams' vehicle...

I found this out when I was driving tanks as a sniper... I would run out to set up my SOFLAM pointing at the enemies spawn then jump back in my tank to use guided shells to spawn rape their vehicles, jets, and chopters... I had to do it fast or the tank blows up...:colbert:
 
Tanks are like egg cartons , repair speed is noticeably slower. Definitely need 2 engies repairing. AS Val and 31 shot clip god like now . G36 rox more now too, as do RPG"S

No wonder I was seeing a lot more people using the Val. I usually count off the shots when going against the person and noticed that I had to wait a lot longer before counterattacking.

I noticed that the MG36 is a lot harder to handle but the burst shot has a lot tighter grouping.
