Chokehold at b is the most fun and these 836 resupply ribbons took me about 2 days.

My last 8 ranks have been solely from resupply ribbons and the occasional kill from a stray enemy trying to reach around kill at the chokehold points .

Rig i am using now runs like crap in close combat so resupply and healing works for now.

My best round i got 68 resupply ribbons and 2 medals add in 10k points mostly from healing and revives plus 200 per ribbon...good luck finding a better support player then me.

I love Conquest on Metro. I only had 4 kills and 1 death but over 6400+ points because of resupply bonuses.

Its so much harder to get the healing ribbon 10k award than the supply ribbon. over 50% of my play time with the medic and no award. I almost have 3 resupply 10k medals even though only about 20% of the time I play support

Just curious, what are everyones load times from browser to in game? This game is really starting to piss me off. It takes at least a minute and a half for me to finally get in game once I pick a server to join. Between maps is no issue to me.

It takes a lot longer for me to load after the patch. A LOT longer

Smoke grenades, these things are a little OP on Rush maps like Metro and Bazaar, use them when on the attacking side to arm the m-com stations with ease. And don't forget, a direct hit on an enemy does kill, there's few things more humiliating than being killed by "M320 SMOKE". 😀

Its not too bad if you are on a team that knows what its doing. The smoke pretty well broadcasts that enemies will be in the area. Anytime someone smokes the MCOM I just toss a grenade in there or run towards the MCOM and problem solved

I bought one in anticipation of BF3, and it hasn't let me down (although I guess Zargon would be a better judge of that, because he's the one listening to me on the other end!).

Was my voice actually going to be in that sountrack? Yikes, I don't think I sound too "with it" in the heat of battle! That was an epic moment on Kharg - you were leading those planes directly into my AA sights. Man I love the AA on that level!

Is it just me or should they just throw out the BF3 soundtrack and replace it with BF2? The crunched digital 'music' is basically non-existent.

Not a big deal imho, as it matters not when the game actually gets going, but I really really miss the cool BF2 music, it was so much more epic. BF3 load screen / title screen music sounds like it was put into a meat grinder and then tossed into a furnace.

Agreed. I hope they fix that. Often I have to start the next round just to tell my squad that I'm leaving the game.

If you've had a good few rounds with a squad, I'd say it's best not just to disappear. Matters more on servers you regularly play on though, I guess.

I'll wait around as well to do the gg/cya. I usually do that on Tugboat, a server that I'm playing on with people in my friends list, or when on a squad that had good chemistry. Its basic etiquette.

Could not agree more. Of all the things to complain about, but I really miss the BF2 music. They generally have done a good job of updating the original battlefiled music through the various iterations of the game. However, in BF3 it just feels flat. In BF2 it gets you pumped up. There are a couple times in the campaign where they cranked up the BF2 theme and it was epic. It's a shame they didn't do the same for multi-player.

Yeah - I think its just a polite thing if you've had a few good rounds together or you know them.

Besides - you are missing out on prime smack talking time!

LOL yes. Maybe it's just a nostalgic thing? I liked the original BF1942 music.. and I liked BF2's interpretation of it.

Also, they need to bring back squad voice chat, and one-button-pull-up of squad controls.

To try to get more *NEW* players with new "noob tubes?" In the Metro Map On the RU side they can exploit it by noobing/mortaring from their spawn. On the USA side they can Mortar from the bottom of the esculator. Both sides mortaring into the Flag A area without fear of getting killed...:thumbsdown:

It was funny because a few people rage quit the other day when ATOT ExplosiveJizz was doing it - calling him a hacker and begging the ADMIN to ban him..😀

I gave up on this game a couple weeks and now I just tried it again since there was patch with origin. Nope, 15 mins later it crashed so hard I had to push the reset button on my computer. What a piece of crap game. Back to Bad Company I suppose.

There is only voice chat with people on your friends lis. It works fine in game but there is currently no way to voice comm with strangers in-game. I think DICE said they were working on adding that feature later at least.

update your video card drivers..? don't overclock.. ?

My issue were video card drivers. The latest catalyst drivers have been rock solid for me. Previous versions crashed the game quite a bit. Also, I had to turn off cloud store. The cloud storage thing from origin kept crashing my game. I guess it's not ready yet.

I just reformat with win7 ultimate 64 bit so I thought I'd try Bf3 again. I did load up the latest nvidia 8562 drivers (whatever they're called) everything has been updated. I have a new 560 Ti... it might be factory over clocked but I don't do anything to it. Going to try that cloud thing right now because Bad Company 2 is getting a little boring, I'm closing in on a thousand hours lol. I have a 50 honor account and a 30 honor, both with skill level 860+ too much.

After the SCAR got nerfed I'm starting to use the G36. Sucks not having any sights at all to use.
