Gotta say, this looks leaps and bounds better than BF2, and definitely better than BC2 as well. Look at the movement of the uniforms during the prone sequence, and look at the texture detail of of the bridge and the hotel. Very, very realistic looking. Easier to see in the slo-mo version linked above.

The lesser accuracy is part of why BF2 is more fun. With BC2's weapons effective at greatly enhanced range compared to BF2 and little to no shot deviation, you can't sprint out of the way as effectively as you could, and basically, people die in the first exchange of shots. There is no running out of ammo and switching to pistol or knife. BC2 fighting can therefore be anticlimactic.
 
The textures don't look like they are that big of a leap from BC2, but the animations are simply stunning. Lighting effects look great too.

This is what I was wondering... I'm a huge fan of the Battlefield series, but even I'll be impressed if that is what actual gameplay will look like. To me, it just seemed like some CG first-person views...
 
What the fuck, that video was awful, the kept fading out and cutting out of the gameplay and it was hella short. How are you people passing judgement on the game based on this? This is inconclusive at best.

It is most-likely single-player. BC2 SP had some amazing moments. The graphics in BF3 are going to be out of this world. Especially the part where they are running through that alley; check out the lighting. My jaw hit the floor!

I can't wait for some awesome 7680x1600 BF3 madness! 😀
