Ooh, new unemployment claims were up for the first time in awhile. Not that much but it should mean that today is green.

I was quite shocked when I saw a drop several percent of my index funds, until I realized it was because they are paying out dividends and the price was adjusted according to that.

IMO the unemployment and jobs reports are more important.

CPI higher than expected at 0.5 (forecast was for 0.4). Wall Street doesn't seem to care much.

Edit: Another single hike in June is now the small favorite. That would be three hikes from where we are now.
