Dude. It just means they have substantial short plays in AMD and are setting about to buy another hundreds-k+ shares in AMD when it hits their real low target. Weekly, predictable "price-targeting" by Goldman's. I still don't understand why the SEC hasn't laid the hammer down on those shady asshats.

The weekly FB puts I bought yesterday before the hearings which I "wrote off" as a complete loss after FB went up 2% suddenly went green (increased in value) this morning and I was curious why. Turns out Zuckerberg is still being questioned and it's not going as well as yesterday.

New report says 80% of teens have an iPhone and 90% want an iPhone as next phone. Android is basically becoming an old/poor person phone (I know, we all knew that already.... but).

AAPL should be $200. Such an undervalued stock.

OS experience matters. I think stock android is way better than iOS, but I can see why people would prefer iOS over Samsung flavor of android.

Been swing trading ETH, watching it bounce between 360ish and 430, and then last night it decided to take off to 460 instead.

I guess it's time to turn the mining rig back on...

I did actually own a little SHLD for a bit. They had a decent report a few months ago and popped a bit so I bought 1000 shares at like 4.20 or something like that on spec. It immediately plunged to around 3.50.

I figured the money was probably lost but it did eventually recover to my entry price and I flushed it.

No more for me lol.

I used to like SHLD. I had a nice trade in that stock last year. Now I feel like the bankruptcy risk is way too high for Sears. You could easily wake up to a nasty surprise.

I've always admired Sears. I still shop there on occasion. If Amazon was smart they would buy Sears for pocket change and keep a few token stores open. That would quiet Trump.

Long time interest in stock trading - finally have enough funds to justify it after maxing out retirement accounts...

First initial buys:

TSLA: Bought it at $250 when the bad news was coming out, already back up to $300+
JCP: Probably a dumb move, but I'm holding out hope they may rise again. Overall didn't put that much in here.
CMG: I find Chipotle to be highly undervalued given all the negative press from previous.
ZNGA: Mobile apps and micro transactions are taking off. Found this one to be a solid choice.

Most likely old guy is going to buy maybe 10-20 more phones before he dies.

Teenager will buy new iPhone every year for possibly next 70 years.


Apple knows who has the money and who is willing to spend it. Spoiler Alert: Crochety old android fans aren't much of a loss.

All your picks except TSLA are dumb. CMG has 1000 empty stores that nobody wants to eat at because they don't want hepatitis. ZNGA is range bound for like.... ever... and JCP is just about the worst pick on earth. Even if they beat earnings every quarter people will always say "but amazon is killing retail" and ignore it.
