Indy force fed him AJ last night. TY met projections at least, but still no TD. He's due, right??

So I pick up the TE barnidge to block my opponent from using him since his TE is on a bye.

Seems I might of stumbled on a gold mine. Sadly I didn't play him but I did eifert. So it's still a win win.

U guys think barnidge is going to keep this up? I barely see Cleveland games or can name players on there.

Was going to be pissed I started Ellington over D. Johnson in the flex this week, but one run and TD equalled them. Now, I just need to stop having faith CJ Anderson will do something besides take up a roster spot on my team.

3C. Barnridge OK, small sample size in effect and plays for the Browns but looks like the real deal. Smoke 'em while you got 'em with guys like this and be prepared to switch him out if performance reverts to mean.

Dude is making a name for himself. He'll be a hot waiver pickup.

Yea.. he was on my bench. Should of started him but I chose spiller. It's going to be a harder pick next week.

I see him getting more touches next week. CJ2K is bound to fall off soon (he always does) and Ellington is healthy and ready to go. I just wish they'd stop letting D. Johnson vulture those goaline TDs.

He's good at it. So why not.

Thoughts... spiller or sproles... I might need to drop one in the upcoming weeks to cover a huge bye week for me. Both play the same role and is a rb3 on their teams. Sproles has the kick return bonus. Spiller I think is the better player but usage is all over the place.

have to post this, since I doubt I'll have very many weeks like this one, but

I started:
Dalton
A. Robinson
Eifert
D. Martin
C. Hyde
Edelman

12 touchdowns among those 6 players. Feels good!

then next week back into the toilet most likely.

Glad I picked up Antonio Gates but what sucks is that I lost by one point :( However I did make out in spades on fan duel with the Rivers/Gates combo this week :D

Gates saved my ass this week. I was barely ahead going in to tonight and I had Gates and Allen up against up Bell and Woodhead. So glad I picked up up two weeks ago of FA. Surprisingly nobody had drafted him and I knew he would be back with a vengeance! I also dodge a bit of a bullet with Andre Johnson on my opponents bench.

Gates had a great game. Seems like that is Rivers' top target (again).

On an unrelated note, a big F YOU to Profootballfocus for taking away their regular subscriber premium stats and only making them available to NFL teams/coaches. The new grading system based on a 0-100 system isn't gonna get it done. I'm going to check out Football Outsiders but doubt it's going to have the level of detail that PFF had. PFF's fantasy package is still worth it since their writers do have access to the stats, but being able to access data on team grades relative to their peers isn't possible now.

Should I trade Bernard for Barnidge. I have Ivory, Gore, Gurley, Abdullah, and Andrews as my RBs but my TEs are really lacking with only Bennett and Williams.

I've got Vereen and Woodhead going into week 6, with Theo Riddick and Randle with a bye on the bench. I had to drop Charles since he'll be out for the year. Should I start Riddick in place of Vereen or Woodhead or keep them in? PPR league. Of who's available top 5 RBs we have:

David Johnson Ari
Charles Sims TB
R. Jennings NYG
Matt Jones WA (showing questionable)
Sproles Phi.

Johnson is playing Pitt so I doubt there's anything there for him, Sims is on bye, Jennings might do ok but not a lot out touches in the red zone. Jones is questionable, assuming he'll play but his numbers are down. Sproles is available, but I would think Murray will see more touches as well. What do you guys think?

I also got E Manning against Phi or Dalton against Buf. Might stick with Manning, but both passing defenses aren't that great.

I think Sproles will do good in PPR, but with the other backs finally not being terrible, he might not get the carries. He does get the PRs though, so that could be a bonus.

David Johnson is pretty good at vulturing TDs, though.

Ahmad Bradshaw back with the Colts.

They probably will use him extensively for 3rd downs because he is an excellent pass protector (this should help Luck a little bit) and receiver out of the backfield.

Yeah, they won't let him be lead dog even though he's more talented than the nominal first team RB. Although the gap is a lot smaller this year.

My current RBs: Le’Veon Bell, Chris Ivory, Frank Gore
My current WRs: Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Maclin, Kamar Aiken, Jordan Matthews, Steve Smith Sr., Terrance Williams, Willie Sneed

Two potential trades:
1) Frank Gore and a receiver (maybe Sneed) for Julian Edelman
2) Jeremy Maclin for Dez Bryant

What do you think of those trades?

Has Maclin been productive? Des should be back in a couple weeks, so if you have better options being consistent, that isn't a bad trade to have for playoff push later on.

A good WR is useless without a qb. Something maclin and dez is suffering from. Dez comes back without Romo, he isn't that much better then maclin with smith throwing.

Look at Antonio brown without Ben.

Just good for thought. This is why I didn't bother making a play for dez.

Who was QB for the Browns when Jsh Gordon was blowing up two years ago? Who's throwing to Nuk Hopkins in Houston right now?

You're probably ok with ivory gore gurley but you are giving more value.

Regarding the first trade, I'd do it for Edelman - especially if PPR and especially if the receiver is Sneed. Gore is grading out at extremely subpar and you're hoping for volume with him, but with Bradshaw now in the mix he's going to get less. The only downside is you lose a little bit of RB depth. However, if another big name goes down and you can get a charcandrick west type of volume player, that would give you the same level with higher upside than Gore. Edelman/Maclin would be a solid combo at WR and you could possibly flip some lesser receivers like Smitty for a RB.

2nd trade: You're gonna need Maclin since he's clearly better than all of your other receivers. I wouldn't do it, especially with JC out for the year - it means more passes will be funneled to Maclin. Dez is a big question mark, and even when he does come back he'll have Weeden or Cassel throwing to him. Screw that. The only advantage Dez has is red zone looks, Maclin will get as much if not more volume. On a related note, I'd drop Aiken and pick up LaFell. No need to have both Smitty and Aiken on the same team.
