So who's the cowboys going to get to either take over QB or back up? Only free agent that really jumps out that would fit their play style is Matt Flynn.

Talk of them trading for RG3 is bunk, RG3 needs a new team but one that will work to his strengths not try and make him mold to their play style like in Washington.

Don't put it past Jones to take a gamble to sell some jerseys. I could bet they'd make more than his salary for this year if they picked him up on a trade.

But yeah, I think they will pick up someone like Flynn just for as insurance if Weeden goes down. 8 weeks is a long time to wait for Romo.

I expect they will activate Showers given the shitty options, he's already on the practice squad. They were talking about keeping him on the roster as a a return guy I think, wasn't paying too much attention to the 3rd string QB talk...

If we get to the 3rd string, we're completely fucked. Would it matter who gets rolled out there? Might as well stick with a guy you're already developing.

Indy looking pretty terrible. Better turn it around, or the Texans might win the division again!

Also, Jets getting some takeaways! Leftovers from Rex's defense, new coach doing something different, or fluke? If they had a QB, they might not be terrible. And, no, I don't mean Geno. >_>

Even cheating, crappy Buffalo couldn't win. Ryan knew NE was going to pass every down and they still couldn't stop them.

But...but that $250 million D-line? BA-HAHAHAHAHAH, lesson learned, don't fuck with TB12 with billboards, air-pumps in the team store, train-horns at the snap of the ball, he'll just bury you like king Tut. BTW the Pats don't have to file a formal complaint against the Bills about the train-horn during the Pats snapping the ball, every team has to send in copies of their home games to the league office. Somehow me thinks this "issue" gets lost in the "integrity" dept's folders LOL.

it's called 3 of the 4 secondary starters are new (this year) to the team.

Hey, remember when the Ravens bitched about the Patriots using that 'trick' play where they have an "OL" go out into a route to catch passes?

Harbaugh is a whiny little hypocritical wise and beautiful woman.

Edit: Also lol colts.

I guess when I said indycoltsfAndrew Luck spent all his luck when the Colts used all their luck in the wildcard game, I was right. (yeah, I try to be as stupid as possible with the name's spelling, I guess I don't do stupid well, but it worked, right?

Enjoy your perpetual bottom of the division from here on out.

Truth hurts, I see.

Dude your coach, team, fans went so fucking far overboard over the game it was getting ridiculous. Claiming "the rest of the league wants us to win too", yea, that would be the Colts and the Ravens, both now 0-2, both involved with getting deflategate going, karma's a bitch baby!. Oh, BTW every home team HAS to forward a tape of the game played last week so that numbnuts honking the train-horn while the Pats were in their offensive set will get busted for his bullshit. The Bills needed an actual train, not just the horn to slow down the Patriots last Sunday.

I don't see how anyone could legitimately bitch about that play. You have to fucking call them as an eligible receiver before the play.

That being said, I'd mark one O lineman -every fucking play-, or maybe just randomly every 3rd play or something like that just to fuck with the other team.

Doesn't matter.

Bills shat all over Colts.

Jests shat all over Colts.

Using transitive properties, the Patriots will take an even moar giant dump on the Colts, like they always do.

It's science!

Like lupi said, it's the secondary. Revis alone is that good. At one point in the game the Jets were up 4-1 on turnovers and only 3 points on the scoreboard.

This what's so fucking hard to figure out with the recent NFL, you almost need half the season to answer that question. Parity has set in pretty good and last years better team could be this years joker. Sure there's trends but they snap quickly.

Cowboys of last year were a wonderful example.

Did someone mention how crazy a week this was, between my work pool and at pool, some 40 survivor picks and not a single one won this week.

I guess it could be worse, Japan beat S Africa at 1000:1 odds in Rugby. I read it wrecked over 99% of pools in NZ.

Actually, every one of your posts does stupid VERY well. Funny how you didn't even have enough balls to come in here after KC's melt down, but I suppose that's ok - we all know it would've been the fault of refs, Denver cheating, the turf, the scoreboard being too bright, or some guy in the nosebleed section farting and distracting Andy and Alex. It won't EVER be that they fucked up.

Unlike you, I won't make excuses - this is a bad team and as I said BEFORE the season, the people who picked them to win the AFC obviously didn't pay attention to what Grigson did (actually, didn't do) in the offseason. You probably had your head too far up Alex Smith's ass to notice.

I'll be giddy the day Grigson and Pagano are fired but unfortunately, we all know Pagano is going to be the sacrificial lamb first. Grigson is the 2010s version of Matt Millen.

They're that bad. Poorly coached, extremely poor front office (aka Grigson), and Irsay is fiddling while the franchise burns. I do think the Jets are a QB away from being a serious contender, however.

I warned everyone this would happen. They weren't a good team last year either yet the "experts" ignored all the obvious signs such as them losing to just about every other playoff team during the regular season. These same "experts" correctly pointed out the Colts' woes on he offensive line and defensive line but still picked them as the AFC favorites even when Grigson drafts a wide receiver in the first round and does little to address the concerns on the OL and DL.

The Colts D played pretty well last night and the two rookies on the DL may pan out, but remember, they played the Jets and Bills. I predict that when they play a team with a really good offense (like the Patriots), it will be horrible. Frankly, the best favor the Patriots can do is to shut the Colts out 60-0 and then maybe Irsay would sober up and fire his Keystone cops. Bill Polian is available, just don't allow him to bring that idiot Chris Polian with him.

The AFC South is awful and I still expect the Colts to win the division.

With that said, I always find it interesting when the QB takes the entire blame. Seems like they have just a bit of an OL problem in Indy...

Is there some kind of comet in our local solar system the last week, you know, influencing our sporting events on planet earth?

There's enough stink on the team to go around, that's for sure. And it starts in the front office.

And you're right - 8-8 might be enough to win the AFC South and get into the playoffs.
