Was at work so I couldn't watch the game, does ESPN have trolls doing their mobile score updates? With I think :04 left in the game it clearly said the score was 109-107 LAC up and that Griffin had hit a jumper for 2 points. I update the score 20 seconds later and the score was 108-107 Spurs and the mention of Blake scoring was removed. Did something happen in the last few seconds where Griffin did score but there was a foul or something?

I had a bet on LAC winning so that troll update had me doing back flips at work lol.

Huge offensive interference call on DeAndre Jordan that practically decided the game. Griffin's shot was bouncing off the rim and backboard and looked like it probably would have fallen, but Jordan just barely touched it with his pinky while it was on the rim. The refs called it immediately and took away the basket, then watched it on replay for several minutes and confirmed the call.

So close. The way the ball bounced on the rim, it may have fallen anyway. The slow-motion sequence starting at about 0:42 in the video below shows it best. The ball just barely bounces off the rim and Jordan redirects it, so it was clearly in the cylinder.

God I was up late watching that Spurs/Clips game but it was so worth it. It really does suck that at the end of round 1 one of those teams will be out of it already.

It happened again!

And I don't think it would have gone in without DJ's tip personally. I think it looks like the ball's momentum would have caused it to bounce out.

https://gfycat.com/AllPerfectIvorygull is another good angle.

I think it might have fallen. DJ made a mistake, but that didn't cost them the game completely. The Spurs would have been down by one with some time and Clips had zero fouls to give. It was a great game though, especially that 4th quarter.

It was a rough physical game, I liked how the officials let the players play and didn't decide the game for them.

Sad thing is if you erase a total of 10 seconds in time from game 2 and 5 it would be a done series for the clips. Choke on that bone.

News was love had surgery yesterday and likely out till beginning of next season.

Eh, you gotta play all 48 minutes lol. Plus you can make that point about a hundred different series but ultimately, over the course of seven games, usually the best team wins. Not always, but the "any given Sunday" factor in basketball isn't nearly as significant.

So it's currently 62-28 Bulls near the end of the 2nd and Giannis just got tossed with a flagrant 2.... which means Milwaukee is right where they want to be.

CLIPS WITH THE WIN!!!!

One more time, tired of hearing about the Spurs. I have nothing against them as a team, but they have some of the most annoying fans on the planet.

At least the game will start at a resonable time tomorrow night and not another 1030pm sunday type crap.

Bulls really played well last night. I ended up watching some of the draft and when I flipped back was like "wtf, this can't be real!" If the Bulls continue to play like they did last night, the Cavs will be given a run for their money.

Pop lost the game, it was almost as if like he didn't want to win. The bench was doing so good but he would not play them, they would come in make some points, get close to the Clippers but then once again, he would bring in the wild hogs and fall back... sucks... Clippers played some awesome game though, Doc did a great job responding to Pop's tricks. I like them now, will root for them against Rockets. It's a team with a lot of character and a lot of talent.

I know the round is not over yet, but I wish it already was, they do not deserve it. If they win they will rob a great team of its playoff run only to insert their troll game, sight of Pop sickens me now.

I really think it is time for Parker to be coming off the bench to give Mills a rest. Mills has been playing with such intensity and fire and Parker simply isn't the same Parker of the past.

Also, it still baffles me how professional basketball players can be bad a free throws. Your job is to be good a basketball. If you spent an extra hour shooting free throws after practice each day, the "hack a shaq" routine would stop. If Howard or Jordan were 80% free throw shooters, they'd be near unstoppable.

They actually shoot thousands of free throws during practice. I remember the same criticism of Dwight when he was on the Lakers and they showed a white board of makes and misses during practice. I guess it's just a different vibe in front of a crowd for these bad shooters.

Reggie Miller (who is an awful awful announcer but at least does know about playing) has commented a few times that DJ's form is fine, good even and thinks his problems are mental. The same has been said of Howard - both of whom you would read/hear about hitting FTs without much problem in practice but then have trouble actually in game.

I like Reggie's commentary. Especially, when games start to get real physical. He was known for trash talking opponents into fights.

I'll take Reggie over "hand down, man down" any day of the week.
