Milwaukee/Chicago suddenly became a LOT more interesting, didn't it? Next game is in Milwaukee.

Chicago is not playing with urgency and our Defense is not up to par (especially Derrick Rose).

If we don't start busting our asses....we will lose this serious. Bucks are simply outplaying/outworking the Bulls.

I only seen 2 people work really hard this game, Noah and Butler.

If Chicago doesn't make it out of this round, Thibs is gone.

Tibs is not the problem so if they were to do that, that would be stupid (knowing Bulls management....they probably would).

It's the players and lack of effort and urgency that's the problem!

I think Rose isn't "ready". He really needs this series to close out so he can rest. Everyone keeps saying he is back (announcers) because he can slash at the basket and stop quick for jumpers. His defense is still pretty bad and so is his fitness level.

It also looks like the Bulls want to be the first team to lose after going up 3-0 in a best of seven...

But, with that said, the Bucks played pretty good last night. They capitalized fairly well on Bulls turnovers and didn't make a lot of mistakes. Far more than most would expect from a young team on the verge of elimination.

Agreed

And Bulls AGAIN kept turning over the ball.

Bucks are also baiting them into layups.....then blocking their shots/attacking defense. Butler and Rose both got shut down at a critical time.

We are not shooting enough........where was Dunleavy......Hinrich......Mirotic........

Yep and that's why I say Thibs is done in Chicago if it happens. He's been a sore spot for management for years. He's been awesome in the regular season in scraping together more wins than those teams should have had. But his shtick is getting old and worn out on the current players. All those regular season wins but only one bumbled trip to the Eastern Conference finals to show for it.

Noah missed two point blank layups in a row when they were within 5 points there halfway through the 4th. Then the Bucks went on a run and pushed it back to a double digit game. Rose was horrible though. Shooting was awful and his defense is even worse.

Rose looks bad but I think it is fatigue. He needs to be reduced in his minutes. Brooks is playing tenacious enough to cover and give Rose a break.

Whichever team goes through, they will have a great opportunity to steal two games at Cleveland. With Love out for the series and Smith suspended 2 games, Cavs are primed to drop two home games right off the bat.

He made the shots.....he just didn't take enough of them.

Agreed on Defense. Brooks should've been playing more after the 4th game defensive disaster from Rose.

Brooks has the intensity that can match the bucks....

I think y'all are a little quick to bury the Bulls. The Bucks have played two good games, yes, and they're not a pushover by any means. But I don't think they're at the point where they're going to make history as the first team to ever come back from the 3-0 hole. Even if it goes to a Game 7, Chicago will be at home with a serious sense of urgency. Milwaukee has played five games in Chicago so far this year; they've won one. Let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet.

Heh. Sorry, we're Chicago sports fans. We're conditioned to expect end of season collapses. Blackhawks excluded.

True, but Chicago is playing very poorly. Milwaukee is playing well, but it is Chicago playing terrible. They are turning the ball over, not playing great defense, missing makeable shots, etc. If they are having this much trouble against the Bucks, I can't imagine the Cavs having much trouble. Though, Chicago has been playing down the level of teams they are against this year.

Well, way to suck all the fun out of a situation!

If Chicago doesn't make it out of this round, Thibs is gone.

Only a championship will spare Thibs' job, his relationship with the front office is that frayed. At the same time, there is zero chance of the Bulls winning it all, so Thibs is gone.

I don't think so. If the Bulls can finish the Bucks and get past the Cavs, I give them a pretty good chance to winning the West. Winning the finals? I don't know. I'd give them 3-7 against Spurs or GS. 5-5 against anyone else.

Even without Kevin Love, the Cavs will beat the Bulls. Chicago's frontline has coasted on reputation this year but between injury and age it isn't what it appears to be.

The Bucks have suddenly made this an interesting series right as they changed things up to lock down the wing players by leaving themselves vulnerable to attack from the Bulls' bigs. They are daring Chi to shoot wide open jumpers from the 4 and 5 and Chi is either bricking them or not taking them, allowing help rotation to come back off the wings.

LeBron will probably play more at the 4 in the next round, whenever Thompson or Mozgov sit. When that happens the Bulls will not be able to exploit that from the offensive end. Defensively they can get away with more of two of Noah, Gibson, and Gasol on the floor at one time without spacing issues created by Love. Well, unless of course Lebron is at the four.

The Bulls are struggling with a mediocre Bucks team, and as we have seen from a Thibs era Bulls team over the years, they have no higher gear they can jump to when the stakes get higher. They succeed off effort more than strategy so when it is time to play with playoff intensity they lose that edge they had gained during the regular season. Only with more wear to show for it.

I'd bet you any amount of money the Bulls won't win the Western Conference. :D

I think this year's western champions will be the Rockets, very strong all rounder team. No other team matches their collective talent and energy. Spurs can give then the run for their money IFF they meet up, but beyond that Warriors do not stand a chance.

Pretty WEAK start by the Spurs... they have to play very differently if they want to win.

End of 1st update - Doc has created a impenetrable force field that Pop for the life of it cannot figure it out... its over.

Was at work so I couldn't watch the game, does ESPN have trolls doing their mobile score updates? With I think :04 left in the game it clearly said the score was 109-107 LAC up and that Griffin had hit a jumper for 2 points. I update the score 20 seconds later and the score was 108-107 Spurs and the mention of Blake scoring was removed. Did something happen in the last few seconds where Griffin did score but there was a foul or something?

I had a bet on LAC winning so that troll update had me doing back flips at work lol.

Griffin shot a 2 that rolled around the rim, however had offensive interference by DJ. Basket did not count. Sadly it looked as if that shot would've gone in even if DJ didn't touch it.
