HAHAHAH,

Just got an e-mail. When I filled my SD order yesterday at $6.11, I forgot to cancel my oder to buy more at $5. I bought more during the dip to $4.80 after the open. SD is almost back to $6/share. Up almost 20% on the same day on those shares. Anything over $6, and I'm in the green w/ DCAing.

Sure you did.

Yeah...I saw that...it of course happened a couple hours after I made the trade. I only added to both stocks what was paid in dividends into my account. I haven't figured if I want to pull the plug yet, but I figure it may be interesting. I did see that after that was announced it spiked from 2.00 to 2.30 and finished around 2.09.

If exploring options leads to bankruptcy then it's really bad. If it leads to other things it can be good. I've been long on AMD for a long time and don't have a bunch of exposure at this point. I think the graphics division will have more merit than their CPU. Since my exposure is relatively low I may be inclined to ride the wave for a bit. I also think that the GPUs used in some of the next gaming systems may help their growth.

My dividend strategy is to sometimes take a gamble on something and other times to add to the good dividend stock.

In all honesty, ARR is not a great idea either due to the future tightening of the margins on loans. Again, I used some 'loose' change to make the additions so if it works out, great, otherwise ohh well.

Sweet. Lower it goes, the more money I have on paper thanks to half my money being US$.

Dow was +50 in the morning, so surprised to see it down 170 after closing.

Market meltdown continues. GOP/DEM are in a state of Nash equilibrium. Expect continuing declining markets as we get close and closer to the impending fiscal cliff. (Which will occur due to the GOP exercising the Nero decree)

Don't forget to add in Israel and Palestinians doing their regular bullshit again. Markets not liking that, apparently.

If you are going long anything right now you are crazy. The fiscal cliff is akin to the year 2000 problem. There will be a negative cloud over the market until then.

When it is resolved (and it will be resolved), it will be the biggest buying opportunity of the next 12 months. :)

I was thinking, it would be fitting if the "Big One" hit on 12/21.

When it is resolved (and it will be resolved), it will be the biggest buying opportunity of the next 12 months

A real resolution (ie: govt spending under control, no debt ceiling raise) is very unlikely now. Still, there's plenty else that threatens the economy; if they manage a "deal" which manages not to blow it up all at once... I'd take that.

I'm thinking the time is right to go Bear honestly.

The year 2000 problem was actually resolve able with something that cost nothing. The fiscal cliff requires actual sacrifices

I think a conciliatory tone press conference today signals a near term buy. :)

How about the QQQs going up from the low of $61 today to $67 by Christmas.

Q calls could make you so rich if we get more cooperative news from Washington. :)

Rally? Will it be gone by closing, or will it last a few days?

I am literally sitting this hand out.
