Hooray Steelers!

Sounds like Taylor might be out the rest of the season though, or at least a few weeks. Sucks, finally get Polamalu back in and now this happens.

Baltimore losing at home against the Steelers without Big Ben? That's pretty bad.

That game was so full of fail for the Ravens. I now have this awful feeling that they may lose to the Redskins next week. Ugh.

Damn, now I wish I had kept watching the Steelers game. I rage quit after Sanders fumbled and Baltimore scored.

lol the camera kept panning back to him on the bench, he was visibly beating himself up about it, I felt kind of bad and I think he dropped another pass shortly after to make matters worse. Caught one or two towards the end of the game iirc, and so did Wallace. They'll get their head's right soon enough.

He might go the way of Limas "butter fingers" Sweed.

The Steelers are hopeless, but thanks for beating Baltimore and showing that they are perhaps even more hopeless. Broncos are now tied in the AFC with them and NE. Two bad teams right there (AFC North) masquerading as good teams. I know feel like the Broncos should have the Ravens number come December 16

Bob Costas is a heaping douchebag. He spent almost a half hour ranting about Jerry Sandusky during the Olympics.

I still don't understand why Bob Costas has such a high regard in the media. He is such a weasel, before the season started he said the the NFL is unacceptably brutal yet he continues to get his paychecks. What a hypocrite

The Steelers and Ravens are about the only teams I think the Colts can beat in the playoff field. Too bad they won't get a chance at either in all likelihood.

Until last night I would have disagreed with you re: Ravens. Now I just hope they don't suffer a December meltdown.

I see not a picogram of hypocrisy in such a statement. One can love the game (or love the thing), and yet have great conflicts and objections to how the game (or the thing) is run.

Everyone has such beliefs about the things they love best in life. The moment we treat something as infallible, is the moment we lose reason. Sport is not a religion. When new knowledge irrefutably points to endemic and woefully ignored problems at the core of an institution, it is the actions of only the foolish--the aculted masses--to ignore these problems and trust in the infallibility of tradition.

that being said, I think Costas was out of line with those comments last night.

Bigger choke job, ravens or panthers.

Not even up for debate. Ravens for sure.

The Panthers are a bad team that got beat by a bad team. They are equally bad IMO, despite their record. The difference is, Arrowhead is actually a good stadium full of good fans whom actually can affect the game so playing there is hard, and after the tragedy that surrounded the game, I think they even had more incentive to play hard.

Cam Newton is a joke of a QB, Ron Rivera is a joke of a HC, and that team is a joke heading to the doldrums of the NFL. They will become the new Cleveland Browns, perpetually bad every year and drafting mediocre QB's with top 5 picks for years and years to come.

The Ravens should be playing better at home, against an opponent that has that many injuries, in your own house, a division rival whom you should have the better of. No excuse.

I'm starting to think that all of the people who are bitching about Baltimore's offensive coordinator are right. They were up by ten points and have one of the league's best running backs. They should have given him the ball more and burnt up the clock since it was clear that the not so good version of Joe Flacco showed up last night.

I don't fear the Ravens for one reason and one reason alone: Flacco. Luck can move the ball on them if the line holds.

Let's not forget to give credit where credit is due -- care to tell us who Baltimore's new QB coach is? :D

The only reason the Ravens have won so many games this year is because Harbaugh is one of the better coaches in the entire league. They've only been good since Flacco was drafted because of him (Harbaugh), and also because Ozzie Newsome is a hell of a GM. He brings in a lot of good talent besides, namely on the Defense though.

Joe Flacco is a huge downside and that team will not win a championship or even get to a super bowl with him at the head. Their window that they had is closing too. If they were going to get it done, they would have during Ed Reed's and Ray Lewis' last few years, because now they are on the down side of their career or will even retire shortly.

No reason to be, 49ers have at least 2 wins coming up (Miami and Arizona at home). With 10 wins the Seahawks would need to run the table to win the divison because of the tie.

Seahawks play @Buffalo, Arizona, St. Louis, and San Francisco.

San Francisco plays Miami, Arizona, @New England, and somebody else.

Not unreasonable that Seahawks can run the table and SF loses Miami or @New England. Miami is not a bad team, they've thrown up a couple bricks (so has SF) but otherwise have been competitive in every game.

I think 1/3 chance Seattle wins the division, given how they play at home and their last road game is @Toronto
