There are intangibles, especially at the QB position, that make it hard to see why some QB's are so successful when others aren't. Look at Matt Ryan in the playoffs over his career, or Tony Romo. Great stats all season, go to playoffs and suck. Mental things, whatever it is, some people step up when it matters most.

Are you paying attention? I said stats aren't the ONLY thing that matters and that they sometimes don't tell the whole story. At least quote me correctly

This means you agree stats do matter to a degree.

BUT WAIT

Bullshit. Winning tells you EVERYTHING!! My argument has always been all along that winning is the only number that matters.

There quoted you.

"Bullshit. Winning tells you EVERYTHING!! "
"Bullshit. Winning tells you EVERYTHING!! "
"Bullshit. Winning tells you EVERYTHING!! "

Should I keep quoting you?
And exactly where have I made an argument that winning isn't everything?

Wow i thought they were above 0.500 with only a month to go at one point.... lol Poor pirates. Team with the longest under 0.500 season record.

The Pirates were up 17 games over 500 at all star break then finshed under 500. It was the biggest epic meltdown of all time for a team to go from over 500 to under 500.

Winning isn't a made up statistic.

QBR is - based on a bunch of different numbers.

How do you not understand the difference?

This basically tells me that you are completely uneducated so I'm done. Quit responding to me reply's so we can end this conversation

Winning is a statistic. Any number to show reference to something else is a statistic.

QBR is not a made up number. It is an equation, based off of real numbers.

Plus the stats the QBs have are as real as the w/l ratio (even if you remove the QBR) and that STILL shows the story I have been saying the entire time.

Sorry but its pretty obvious you talked around in a circle. And using the argument best for you at a given time. Instead of sticking to one point.

Add in how biased you are with players you are a fan for, and ... How people take you seriously on here baffels me.

I just needed entertainment in my last hour or so at work. And you being dillusional to some facts and me pointing that out and seeing your response is for some reason a joy to me. And thus, I must apologize as that is wrong of me.

You would think if he was winner he would be a starter for the jets.

You tell him! I mean, Rex Ryan's announcement today that Mark Sanchez is starting next week is a stroke of brilliance! Rex must REALLY know good QBs, right?

Oh wait.....

The same team was 4-14 under Orton over 2 years and 1-4 under Orton just that season.

Bullshit it wasn't Tebow. It was mostly Tebow. So fuck off :p

what same team? according to you, Von Miller is the biggest swinging dick in the history of NFL defensive players, and he doesn't get enough credit.

Since Von Miller makes them so awesome, maybe Orton should have had more time to play with him, in a fair comparison to Orton.

Neckbeard Orton played pretty well on a very good Bears team before going to Denver.
