Biggest thing I'm debating is whether I start Martin, or Peterson. I get the feeling that Peterson won't be able to run against the SF defense, but all reports this week say he's back to normal and expected to get his regular amount of carries.

Uhg. San Fran is tough sledding. Plus you have them for your Defense. And I hate cheering for TD's for a player when they cost points against my Def I'm starting too 😛

I think Dallas has more room to run against than SF does.

I'm waivering a bit on which of these RB's to start....

Doug Martin vs Dallas
DeAngelo Williams vs NYG
Andre Brown vs Carolina
Hillis vs NO

Pick 2

:\

Thinking Brown & Martin

I think you picked correctly. Martin is awesome, Williams and Hillis are crap, so that leaves Martin and Brown. ^_^

OMG I don't know how you guys play on yahoo, that GUI is just so nasty

Agreed! D:

KT

This is my lineup so far:

QB - Tom Brady (@Bal)
RB - Frank Gore (@Min)
RB - DeMarco Murray (TB)
WR - Steve Smith (NYG)
WR - Kevin Ogletree (TB)
TE - Martellus Bennett (@Car)
FLEX (WRT) - Tony Gonzalez (@SD)
D/ST - Patriots (@Bal)
K - Billy Cundiff
BE - Michael Turner (@SD)
BE - Jay Cutler (StL)
BE - Donald Brown (Jac)
BE - Torrey Smith (NE)
BE - Donnie Avery (Jac)

Part of me is thinking I need to put Avery in place for Ogletree, mostly because of how bad the Jac secondary is. I'd drop Turner, but for some reason he's on the DNC list. I think my starting lineup is fine except for the one secondary WR slot, which I think Smith, Ogletree or Avery would all do fine.

Torrey Smith is always a deep threat, and last two weeks Avery saw a lot of targets from Luck. It's hard for me to choose between those two, but I'd pick either over Ogletree.

Ryan Matthews supposed to start this week. Worth throwing in or waiting and seeing?

I have Murray (DAL) and McFadden (OAK) as well. Might throw Matthews in as my flex position, but evan that is pretty solid, too (Amendola, Brandon Marshall, Gronk are my current WR,WR,Flex).

Roll with Mathews. If he's healthy and is playing, there is no reason to sit him as he will probably run for 100+ yards, a TD, and receive several catches.

Full Disclosure: I am a Chargers and Mathews fan, so I am a little biased

What do you guys think?

I'd go with Tony G.

LaFell has 13 targets and 9 receptions, but one touchdown.
Tony has 16 targets and 12 receptions, but two touchdowns.

They average about the same yardage, but Tony will give you more in a PPR format, as well as that extra TD.

Stewart is out... Mike Tolbert might be a sneaky play in a large league, just picked him up in my league to keep from other owners ^_^. He's behind DeAngelo Williams, of course (and Cam Newton), but the Kool-Aid man is brilliant at the goal line.

Ok...3 weeks ago who ever heard of:

Ramses Barden
Martellus Bennett
Andre Brown

Who would have thought these guys would have put up almost 60 points between the three of them in one game?

Three waiver wire wonders on the same team.

😀

Bennett was expected coming into Week 1 with as much as the Giants use their TE's. Brown was expected to have a decent day today, but probably not THIS good.

Woo! What did Brown do for me tonight? 2TD and 100+ yards. 😀 Didn't make much of a difference whether I put in Newton or Eli tonight, so I'm happy. Great pickup this week for me.

Most Cowboys fans knew of Bennett - the guy ran two TE sets with Witten for years, and backed him up. Unfortunately for Bennett, Phillips is another great blocking TE who is on a minimal contract while Bennett wanted to start - NY was great for him.

Soooo....with the pretty decent running that Brown has done, what's everyone think of his long term value? Bradshaw obviously is a talented back, but the guy is a weekly injury risk. Does NY run Brown out and grind away giving Bradshaw recovery time?

Or is he just a long term bench store until Bradshaw gets hurt again? Wilson appears to be a lost cause in the NYG rotation. Two fumbles and some terrible carries on top of it. Brown obviously has the backup role locked down.

Who knows, obviously there needs to be a few more weeks before we can come to any conclusions on Brown

Glad I picked up Bennet on my main fantasy team, I needed the depth on the W/T, Justin Blackmon and DHB were not cutting it.
