Cassell needs to shoot less. Put Rondo back in.

Not just shoot less...he needs to just not touch the ball.

No kidding. As the point, he didn't know the clock was about to expire? Idiot.

I think there's a lid on the Lakers basket. What a miserably frigid FG% in the 4th.

Great D on Kobe by the Celts. Made him work extra hard for all of his shots. Surprised that no other Laker stepped-up.

Jesus Christ, Celtics won one at home, big deal.

they looked good doing it. People way underrate the celtics because of their early playoff woes.

They looked good at the end when the lakers can't even buy a shot. While a win is a win. The celtics should at the very least be concerned with that short stretch where they were taking stupid shots and missing wide open jumpers and let the lakers hang around. You can't expect the Lakers to match your scoring drought every game.

Oh by the way, is it me or are the time outs a hell of a lot longer than usual extra playoff tv timeout outs? Hmm, maybe it was the close game that I was like hurry up and get back.

And the Lakers should be concerned that they played spotty D, got their asses handed to them on the boards, and ended a lot of their 4th quarter possessions with bailout desperation perimeter junk that wasn't falling.

But next game, I suspect L.A. will play better, and Bryant will be putting his head down and going full speed ahead into the lane, initiating contact to get a bunch of Kobe calls. I'd also expect Pierce to be showing the effects of a knee sprain, after it blows up tonight and gets stiff as hell. Unless something bizarre happens, like Ray Allen going off for 30+ (ha, yeah right), I think the Celtics are going to have a tough time winning that game.

It's only one game. I felt the two teams were evenly matched except that the lakers lost it at the end. I get the feeling we're going to see game 7.

No shit. KB looked like he was just floating in the air on that Alley.
The monster put back by KG sealed the deal for Beantown. That was nasty to.

Awesome game.

Can't wait for game two.

As long as the Celtics continue to dominate the offensive glass, I think they've got a good shot of winning.
