To be honest, LA could have and should have won this game, but give credit to the Celtics D locking LA down late and to Pierce for sinking those two momentum changing shots (what the playoffs/finals are about). Lakers in 6

By the way, kudos to Gasol for being the first professional basketball player in the history of mankind who has never committed a personal foul. What an amazing achievement.

Should have? You obviously didn't watch the 4th quarter.

The Lakers are fine. They haven't played well in any of their 1st road games in this entire playoffs. They have ALWAYS rebounded though in the 2nd one and made the necessary adjustments to put themselves in a position to win.

If I'm the Celtics I worry that Kobe shot 9/26 and the Lakers were right in it until the last minute. The Lakers will make adjustments and come back even harder in Game 2. If Pierce is actually injured or hurt this series could be over a lot quicker than we thought, the Celtics need him scoring 20ppg in order to match LA's scoring output.

No doubt Lakers are the favourites, even after Game 1. It's all about momemtum though. The lakers are playing great but they are not that great of a team. Celtics used to play really well, but they are not as good as early in the regular season. Was Game 1 a switch in form (celtics to their best, lakers starting lose their magical tough)??

I'd be worried for the Lakers simply because Ray Allen is heating up.

the lakers should've won that game

kobe needs to stop taking so many horrible jump shots or turning the ball over. During the last few minutes in the fourth quarter, he caused two straight turnovers
seriously, the shots he took in the fourth quarter were absolutely horrible... not even close to the basket and just forcing it up there

Go Celts!!!

This should be an interesting game.

How healthy is PP?
Can the Celts keep the strong D on Kobe?
Can anyone slow down KG?

These announcers are annoying the crap out of me. Are these guys the normal announcers for "big" games? ie the Madden and Michaels of BBall? (For the record I like Madden and Michaels, even though Madden drives me insane sometimes)

Powe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And get Cassel out, he sucks!

I dont understand why he gets any play time..

No idea. With the poor Laker's defense, House should be fine replacing Rondo at point.
