im not rooting for either team. (boston or LA, they both deserve it, i'm a knick fan) but the officiating at the end of the first half is just favoring the celtics. just look at how many times each team went to the free throw line

Part of that is the Lakers have no inside game. Kobe isn't driving to the hoop but is just taking jump shots.

But the officiating has been horrid through-out the playoffs.

The Celts are extremely aggressive going to the hoop in tonight's game.. the lakers aren't. Usually the aggressive team gets the calls. Anyone who watched the Hawks/Celts series would agree with that. You can blame hometown brewing all you want, but Kenny Mauer hates the Celtics, so don't think he's trying to do them any favors.

Take a look at the shot chart on the espn game cast, LA has at least 10 shots in the paint and only two fouls to show for it. Now I will give SOME credit to Boston and their defense but come on, just two calls? I've been watching the playoffs and officiating is always swayed to the home team.

And almost all of them are from Gasol doing his limp wrist hook shot. The Lakers aren't passing the ball around to set-up plays. The few times that they do, they get easy baskets. Instead they're just taking jump shots.

you don't win championships by deciding to not drive to the hoop just because you're not getting calls. If you're not getting calls, drive to the hoop even more often. The officiating hasn't been very good, but you still need to be aggressive. Otherwise, Lakers should've packed up and gone home at the half.
