What's more annoying is when someone, who hasn't been watching basketball or kept up with NBA news, comes in and spout off utter nonsense.

The real reason Phoenix won't win is because they have average defense.
 
Cavs gave me quite a scare after blowing a 20+ point lead at half time. Cleveland rallied again in the fourth to take the series 4-2.

Cleveland vs Detroit in the Eastern conference finals.😀
 
A lot of talk about who the mvp is, Nash vs. Dirk...but there's no question who the best player on the court right now is...Tim Duncan.
 
The Spurs lit up up the Suns the last 10 minutes of the game. They are just dominating on both ends of the floor.

 
This series goes to show that Nash really does not deserve most accolades he receives. He is a great player but has been on a team of all-stars for the past 3 seasons and they can't make it over the hump, not even to the finals. He has free reign in a system that inflates his stats, but can't win when it really counts.

The Spurs own the Phoenix Suns, and I hope it burns Amare Stoudemire's soul. 😉 :evil:

Barring injury or major upset, the Spurs dynasty lives on.
 
Hahahahahhahaha I'm a huge Lakers fan but many of these idiots at my job talk day and night about the Suns. I am too damn happy . The spurs owned them big time lol lol lol lol

Maybe this is what you see through the eyes of a Spurs fan, but as for the rest of us intelligent NBA follows I can assure you that statement is ridiculously unfounded. Nash is as much an MVP on his team as Tim Duncan is on his, probably more. It's not even about the stats either (though 18/14/6 is nothing to sneeze at) but he's incredibly consistent and still shot at around 50% for the series, try and argue THAT down. So quit sticking your chest out like the Spurs PWNED them or something, if Amare played in Game 5 I assure you it would've been a different story and you'd be singing a different tune.

this i agree with.

as for this series, the spurs played well despite some of the arguable cheap shots. The suns weren't going to win even if they had amare and diaw because SA makes you play their style of ball. Detroit would have done the same to the suns if they played in the finals.

I have no argument against you saying he is the MVP of his team and a deserving all-star, but more recognition than that is suspect.

You seem to forget the Spurs won 3 games with Amare on the floor while Phoenix only won 2. You can blame game 5 all you want, but the Suns lost this series when they lost game 1 at home.

I'm not sticking my chest out either. I'd have the same comments about Nash if they lost to any other team. It just so happens in their three year little stretch here the Spurs have absolutely owned them in the playoffs. Sure Nash had a nice series with decent stats, but Tony Parker who averaged 21 and 6 was just as good and put up 30+ in the two most important games (1 and 6).

The game was close for about 5 minutes at the end of the third, early fourth quarters. Before that they were down by 20+. After that they were down 10+. The Nets never had it.
 
The Suns would have probably had game 5 if they had Amare and Diaw. Game 6 would have gone to the Spurs. Game 7 would have been a tossup, but I'd give the veteran Spurs the edge if anything.

they gave away game six...and it was their inability to control ginobili towards the end, not any of the SA big men that lost it for them.
 
Nash continually whined about "a rule" changing the series, instead of accepting some responsibility for his teammates fault in breaking 'the rule'.

Get over it. The playoffs are all about winning when you have to...and they had to...but couldn't, even against the Spurs a man down. There are no 'what-if's'...they had their fair chances and came up short (just like last year.)
