gift cert should be the last resort if you have absolutely no idea what your recipent wants. I wouldn't want my SS send me a gift cert. it is worst than cash because i can only spend in it one particular store.

Gift checks/cards are the absolute worst. It's all about the effort.
 
My gifts are coming in within the next 2 weeks. I'll have them out and delivered just before Christmas, hopefully 🙂

And unless a person specifically put down "Gift certificates" or clothing for his/her likes, I would not recommend going the GC route. Even if they are for a store the person likes, its still rather impersonal and not as fun (even if the gift isn't exactly what the person wanted). Do a little research on the person if you can; MySpace pages come in handy for this, as well as AT forum posts, of course. No stalking if you live in close proximity to your SS "target", though 😛

Just a little advice for anyone who didn't get much info on likes/dislikes.
 
Granted, giftcards aren't as fun, I think it's a perfectally suitable gift for those who don't have much to go on and have no other resort. Hell, I could get a giftcard to Circuit City, and would be tickled pink 😛.

me i don't think im giving a gc to my ss, i have no idea yet😕:frown:

i came up with a few options for my person to buy for and quizzed friends on which they'd rather get and picked based on that.

its en-route to my house because i ordered multiple things from the same site. hopefully it'll get here, i can wrap it all pretty, and send it to my person!

mine is sent!!! it will be somewhat of an early gift for my ss since i will be gone til the 18th. 😱 i hope they like it
