Sabres up on the Isles 5-1....

After 1 period :Q

edit: oh yeah and the Ottawa / Habs game is blacked out on my dish  WTF

Don't worry. we played crappy but still beat the refs and Habs 5-2.😛

Lou has gone off the deep end. Maybe Julien slept with his wife or something. Someone on the RDS replies to this announcement said the problem is between Brodeur and Julien.

Timmy and Max could be playing by this weekend. That's great news, especially concerning Tim Connolly. I would not have been surprised if he didn't play at all this season. Yay!

yeah....... but briere is going to run into pominville (sp?) who will run into afiniganov (when he gets back) who will run into drury who will run into miller which will result in season ending penis injuries and will be out for the playoffs 😉

Cheers,
Aquaman

The Canadiens are far from the team I'm most worried about 😛
Then again, I bet the Red Wings thought the same about Edmonton last year.

Yo Aquaman. Looks like our teams may face each other in the first round! 😉

One thing about Sabres fans... they suuuuuuure do like to toot their own horns. 😛
Like there exists a fan that doesn't toot their team's horns. 😛
Right.... and Sabres fans 10x more than all the rest. But hey, when you're hot, you're hot! Better win the cup... 😛
Oh please, Leafs fans are the #1 group at talking up their dismally awful hockey team.
The only difference is that the leafs havn't been hot for 40 years.

I've been a sabres fan since I was old enough to skate, all I remember is my team sucking, bad. What I find is a very large influx of new hockey fans who have little to no history with the game now taking full part in the sport. So these people are talking up their team like they are the best thing on ice, primarily because they are the best, but they don't remember the days at the Aud cheering for the other team when the sabres got beat bad.

I know for sure that no one in the Sabres organization is worried about what lines they are going to roll out when their talent is fully healthy. How can you be worried about egos when you have enough depth to roll 4 absolutely destructive lines? No one is sweating the overabundance of talent, except other teams. It's nice to be healthy enough to even begin throwing around "what if" scenarios when players come back. Much better than wondering who you're going to call up from the AHL in a conf. final playoff game.

I really don't have much to say until it's over. Hopefully at that point I will have enough tooting to go around the entire forum 27 times.

The team that everyone is saying is impossible to beat NEVER wins the cup. I'm just sayin... 😛

Don't mind me. My team is a sack of crap right now. I have to participate in these discussions and chirp you guys somehow 🙂

Sens are not favourites for the Cup but the way we've been playing since Christmas after much adversity in the first part of the season and no shoot-out inthe playoffs, I am not afraid of any team in a seven-game series. Bring it on, mofos, just bring it on!😛

Who said Buffalo is impossible to beat? Who cares what "everyone" says?

Really, all I want is one cup. Just one. I would renew my season tickets for the rest of my life, upfront.

That is going to be a tough series............ at least we don't meet the Wild in the first round...... I think they are the team to beat in the conference. Flamers are heating up but I think we can take them if we meet.

I just hope Naslund shows up........... because we want to feast on some shark meat 😛

Sabres clinch the east with an impressive win over the pens. Buffalo looked good, except for the PP which continues to be weak. I can't wait for connolly and max to come back. I've got tickets to the caps-sabres matchup on Saturday which should be fun 😀.

LET'S GO BUFFALO!!

Woot ......... one more win and we clinche 3rd 🙂 Also Luongo will tie Parent & Broduer with 47 wins 😀

Go Canucks GO!!! 😀 😀 😀

Cheers,
Aquaman
