Can't wait for another season. This year's playoffs and Stanley Cup seemed to be the best I've seen in years.

So my bro who lives just south of me in Washington State calls me up and wants me to tell Nonis: WTF is going on?

He doesn't like that Berty was traded, but losing Jovo too???

Personally I don't care too much about the Berty loss, but I'm shocked that Jovo was let go so easily.

I shall bump this thread when the Flyers win the Stanly Cup and Forsberg is named MVP, and Keith gets the game winning goal in game 7.

Of course my memory might slip early into the playoffs. ;)

Wheee! We got Curtis Brown! What does he bring to the table? NOTHING. Maybe faceoffs, but I have no idea why we brought back this joker.

Nah, these guys have been here chatting about hockey long before I have!! :) Take for instance the Canucks w00t thread.

I say it's official when Jujufish posts in it! :p

Anyhoo we have a nice hockey chat community here. It is always refreshing compared to the various "official" chat forums ie. edmontonoilers.com. That one is great and lively etc... but... sometimes i'm in the mood for hockey chat 'light'! :D

I think forsberg will miss most of the season or the whole season. Werent they supposed to fix his feet that are malformed by breaking the bones and resetting them properly?

Just read this on TSN...

According to sources, the Bruins have spoken with free agent winger Brendan Shanahan, 37, who posted 39-39-78 totals last year in Detroit. Shanahan, who resides in Massachusetts, apparently wants to play for the Bruins. - Boston Herald

They are saying he had some friction with Lewis before though...

Brendan Shanahan is slow as mud, couldn't score in the playoffs because of this.

Ugh. Reports say Yzerman is retiring today.

Cheers to one of the greatest sportsmen I've ever seen play any sport.
