Danny Woodhead injured :( I have faith in Melvin Gordon, but we can't afford to lose more Chargers.

Skins got a FG after that stupid onsides kick, so it did hurt them.

Morris' production dropped like crazy the last 2 years and while I still like the guy, it probably was wise to let him go.
Was his production due to him regressing or the Redskins offense being pass happy, shit running game?

He was getting his touches, but wasn't breaking tackles and picking his spots like he was those first 2 seasons. Last season was rough because for whatever reason, Chucky 2 was happy with a committee system and while Morris was still getting good touches, he wasn't doing much with them. They've had a better-than-decent OLine, good passing game, too, so it's not like the run wasn't there for them. Obviously the system changed a bit after Shanahan, but it's not like they've gone light on the run in their system.

He's not going to be going Trent Richardson or anything, but Morris seems to have a hit similar regression. 1 TD today is good, though. If Elliot keeps fumbling, Morris is going to be seeing a lot more touches going forward (hope so, I have him on my bench :D) and he really needs to get his mojo back this season.

It also fits the long-time narrative that a quadriplegic (or even Matt Sanchez) would shine in that system, behind that line. :D

Well no doubt having Edeleman helps and Bennett is playing well in Gronk's absence. Hogan is looking like a fine pickup as well but with all that said JG still had to make sharp, accurate, throws and he was doing exactly that until the injury. Hate to say this but I've seen Brady (who's a lot older) take those kind of shots repeatedly and get off the turf and play. Last years AFCCG was a pounding deluxe as was the Superbowl in which Bennett was basically unblockable and Brady paid dearly for those completions in the 4th Qtr.

Well, now we get to see how the 3rd NC State QB starting in the NFL does next week with Brissett in NE. (Wilson and Rivers being the other 2). I wonder when the NFL has had 3 or more QBs starting from the same college? Hell, if Winston continues to stink it up, we might see Glennon next week and 4 NC State QBs starting in the NFL. :D

Brissett is pretty good and has great size, but he never was quick to throw the ball...but I imagine he will look just as good as Garrapolo (though that guy has had a few years batting at Brady's nutsack, so that helps)

Jimmy G looks to be out for awhile. Pats play Thursday and and then one more game till the savior can return. Houston and the Bills so not gimmie defenses.

This new Sunday Night Football opening song sucks. I miss the old Hank Williams Jr. MNF song from the 80s or 90s. Too bad he had to get nasty politically.

He was always a spark-plug when he played for the Pats, I hated to see him go, dude plays all-out every game.

Forced three fumbles and recovered zero. Brutal.

Prior to the game former Pats TE Christian Fauria talked about how Jimmy G needed to learn how to fall like Brady. Don't know if it would have made a difference in that play he got hurt but it was pretty interesting that Fauria noticed that and made that comment.

Looks like Jimmy G will be out for a while, so NE will need to sign a backup for the next two games.

Diggs is so awesome though. Love that guy. Should have tried harder to draft him in fantasy.

Tuned in second half. This game is crazy. Rodgers looks unusually anxious to me, but Packers still alive in this game after that improbable TD run just now.

Rodgers and Russell Wilson are the two most annoying QBs to play against. Drive me nuts.
