Assuming nothing makes me mad in the final 5 minutes, we can only hope rest of the season for thursday night is anywhere close to being this good.

lol.

I wouldn't call it a great game or anything--Buff just opens doors and let's people score on them.

Forte!

Read that Rex Ryan today fired his offensive coordinator Greg Roman. If anything, Rex should have fired his brother Rob Ryan instead of Roman. The Bills' defense was far worse. and failed last night. The Jets offensive line gave Fitzpatrick all the protection he needed, and made a lot of running room for Forte. I have feeling that Rex and Rob will be ex-coaches at the end of the season. The odds of a miraculous turnaround are pretty low.

And what happened to the svelte Rex? Looks like Rob is influencing Rex's new and ex-dietary habits.

Have to say that while the media focus is on the Jets passing game, Forte looked awful good. Three TD's and he seemed to be ripping off 8 yard gains at will. The Patriots spoke with Forte, when he was looking for a team in free agency. I was hoping they'd sign Forte. I guess it was old news of not putting the cash on the table, especially for a running back.

I do like the opening to the Thursday games. The Jim Brown one was like listening to the footsteps in the hall while no one is there.

Doesn't hurt that the Kelly girls a bunch of hottest. Namath grandkids look like the NY chick that would be great in bed and bitchin ya out when not there. Camera didn't stay on the quite as long to catch the tattoos though

Wide right, lol.

Bye Greg Roman.

lol completely insane. His garbage brother leading that garbage defense (like every single one of his past garbage defenses) should have been canned. I'm sorry, the coach that gets you 31 points has the job--not the one that gives up 37 points.

..oh, just heard that Rob is "assistant head coach for defense" whatever that means.

It also fits the long-time narrative that a quadriplegic (or even Matt Sanchez) would shine in that system, behind that line. :D

Firing Roman was a way for Rex to protect himself and his brother. Greg was viewed as a potential head coach down the road and having him there would have made it easier to shitcan the Ryans and turn the program over to Roman. With him getting tossed under the bus Buffalo doesn't have another guy on staff that seems like a logical long term plan. Rex is likely gone at the end of the season, but if Roman was still there Rex probably wouldn't have made it past week 6.

Skins got a TD and receiver just about took out someone at the wall.

The girls score, and then try about the worst onside kick in history.

That was a strange call for that onside kick. Oh well, didn't burn them. Gave up a 54 yard throw then got a pick in the end zone can drove down to score. Elliot putting the ball on the ground though. Thankfully, Morris is a good runner. Why Washington let him go, I'll never know.

Skins got a FG after that stupid onsides kick, so it did hurt them.

Morris' production dropped like crazy the last 2 years and while I still like the guy, it probably was wise to let him go.

You know what I just remembered and it depressed me? This is the first NFL season in a long time that isn't running concurrently with a new season of The League. I REALLY miss the League.
