Brady is a great QB, but he is an asshole. Just because hes great doesnt absolve him of being not an asshole.

What exactly has Brady done to be an asshole? He got a favorable call ONCE about tucking the ball and it wasn't even the first time it was called? Or he doesn't look like a mongoloid? Or he was a middle of the road, at best, QB coming into the draft and got a chancery shine? Brady is literally the American fucking dream. If you hate Brady, you hate every rags to riches dream anyone ever wanted. Brady wasn't athletically gifted nor was he hyped or carried. He worked his ass off to be the best, and it worked.

I recall Bart Scott saying something about Brady, but I don't remember exactly what it was.

For the umpteenth time, it wasn't a favorable call, it was the RULE. It was called correctly. Crappy Rule, but called correctly. It's like saying the pitcher got a favorable call when an umpire calls a strike when a pitcher throws a ball down the middle of the plate.

Again. Stupid Rule, called correctly!!

So what exactly then has he done to deserve "asshole" status. Shit, he even covered for Lafelle's Gaffe in the 4th Qtr, (he quit on a route resulting in an int.) but Brady said "I was trying to throw it away there and didn't get enough on it". I do realize he will bark at people on occasion in the heat of battle but that's just the competitive nature in him and we've seen this from other QB's (and other players) as well. TBO the camera panned the NE sideline during yesterdays debacle and I saw guys smiling and laughing. Pissed me off, your getting skunked by a team that has a 4-7 record, at home no less and the #1 seed just fell through your hands. No one should be smiling or joking.

It's a "judgement" call and eventually it was deemed to difficult to call consistently so it was scrapped. IMHO Brady did fumble there but caught a huge break. That being said the Raiders won the toss in OT and did zero with their possession so it's not like they didn't have more chances to win that game, they did.

Well Brady "cheering" or getting pumped up about getting BS roughing the passer calls puts him in the asshole category for me.

Well if you watched the last 3 weeks games you should be happy, he taken a beating and gotten only one RTP call. IMO it's amazing how a 38yr old can take the hits he has been getting, they need a run game, stat!.

It was not a judgment call. Brady clearly pulled the ball down back to his body.

Here is the rule:
The tuck rule was an exception to this rule. It applied if the quarterback moved his arm forward in a passing motion, but then changed his mind and tried to keep hold of the football rather than attempt a pass.In this situation, if the quarterback lost the ball while stopping his passing motion or bringing the ball back to his body, it was still considered a forward pass (and thus an incomplete pass if the ball hit the ground). [2] Mike Pereira, the former director of officiating of the NFL, noted that the design of the rule obviates the need to consider the quarterback's intent,[1] although the referee still must judge whether the initial forward movement of the arm was "intentional" on the part of the player or not.

Watch the replay https://youtu.be/vqKENiL5gxQ?t=7564 (cued to the moment) and Read the Rule. The explanation was fubbed by the official, but it didn't change the call being correct.

Man, I wish it could be said that this was a low scoring defensive clinic type of game, but no. These are just two incompetent teams.

I'm calling it, 2015 = Year of the bad decisions. LOL Redskins. I'm sure Dallas will F it up anyway though.

Wow. I come home, it's 9-9, and now a completely different game has broken out.
