Very nice throw by Bradford there, many defenders around him and he throws a nice shot for the 1st down, that should do it for the Pats. Gutsy call and it's nice seeing a coach not going the "safe" route on a 3rd and 11.

Newton probably just saved the game for Carolina there on 4th down at the 2 minute warning.

Just poor coverage again from the Saints.

Was challenged, but looked like a catch to me.

Pats receivers. Oof.

Yea, the one to Lafelle was a really, really, bad drop. It looked like that would have been for a nice 20-25yrd gain too. Amendola's was catchable but he had to turn around and climb the ladder and couldn't do it. Congrats to the Philly fans, Insane special-teams plays all game long and a gutsy call by the coach you rarely see nowadays.

OT would have been the smart move of course.

If that pass had worked might have changed things a lot.

Gambled and lost, it even looked catchable to me if the receiver had looked back a split second or so earlier.

Sometimes you have to LOL at these experienced coaches "out-thinking" themselves. First BB just scored and has a 14-0 lead so lets try a sneak on-sides kick, brilliant. The Eagles recovered with excellent field position and went down and scored. That seemed to jump-start the team in a big way. Now we just saw NO try a home-run ball when an infield single would have fit the bill.

Fucking Vikings embarrass me. Seriously, vomit inducing performance. I've been watching for decades, I'm just about done.

The Bills the Jets and the Panthers won. It is a good day for football. And any day I get to see the asshole tom Brady pouting in defeat is a great day. I hate him with every fiber of my being.

Wow, special teams, something that NE puts so much emphasis on, blows it two games in a row. Try to be cute with the drop kick after going up 14-0. Then instead of pounding the ball on the ground, they continue to let Brady get smashed and forcing him to make poor decisions or throw to receivers that can't catch the ball.

Have to win out in hopes to getting a second seed but who knows if they'll get their shit together before the playoffs.

Even if it results in a lot of punts the Pats HAVE to try and run it, Brady will not make it through this season if the beatings continue, why BB and Kraft can't see that is mind-boggling to me.

I think Denver takes the mojo of undefeated teams they beat. First KC (who had only won one, but still, they lost 5 in a row), then Green Bay (3 in a row), and now New England (2 in a row so far).

"Mojo"?, what I saw was a Patriots team make crucial mistakes that had zero to do with the game in Denver. No team can allow a blocked punt for a TD, a bad decision by the QB for a 99yrd pick-6 and a punt returned for yet another TD have much of a shot to win. The Pats made mistakes o-plenty and the Eagles took full advantage. Credit is due to the special teams coach and players, that was the 1st blocked punt on NE in 97 games.

Is he an "asshole" because he has won so many games?. There was a period when Manning was so good he beat us out of the playoff's, twice. I never thought of him as an "asshole" because he was that good. When Marino shredded our defense like cheddar cheese I never thought he was an "asshole" either. Their just guys trying to win a game.

local DC folk: are NFl cable games generally broadcast by one of the local OTA or non-cable network affiliates?

I'd like to watch the game, but I don't want to huff it to a bar tonight. This was the case for local games in the Bay Area and Chicago, so wondering if we get similar love out here.

Pretty sure MNF is only broadcast on ESPN no matter where the game is being played.

I could be wrong.

It's played on ABC (I think ABC is the ESPN co-broadcaster for regional games) in the team's local regional markets presuming it's not blacked out.

Every where I've lived with a local team on MNF has had non-cable broadcasts for those games. Also for the recent NFl Network-only Thursday games (before they were doing the mostly CBS simulcast)

This is not the same with college (ESPN) and various other sports, obviously....but sometimes.

Brady is a great QB, but he is an asshole. Just because hes great doesnt absolve him of being not an asshole.

Yeah. The game is going to be on 20-1 I believe.
