as an admitted but not recovering deal junkie, I am finding more and more of my time spent looking for deals and not finding them as often as I did a few months back. There might be fewer deals and more dealhunters out there in the wild .... Sometimes, I hate to say it, it just ain't worth it dealing with rude csr's and the worst managers, or just not getting your rebate. I am currently 50/50 for rebates so far.


oh just a bump for those hopeful and desperate deal hunters out there that think there might be something worth putting on the credit card to put in the closet or the garage after a couple of months of non-use.

i was the one that picked up the epson 740 for 39.88, but as far as i know, i'm the only lucky one, unless someone else has and hasn't spoken up. as pointed out before, i've seen a lot of the stuff on these lists at my local B&M, and probably a lot of other useless (to me at least) junk that is not on the list. there is a whole load of crap on the clearance table now, but nothing too exciting worth mentioning. the moral of the story.... head over to your neighborhood OD B&M and see if anything tickles your fancy.... you never know what you may find.
 
i got the bjc-6000 for $29.95 at bb a while back. how was i to know that this month they'd(my parents) confiscate it? really, i just hook up my co-workers now and then, but those bc-32s for $7.88 was too much! haven't seen them anywhere else either 🙂

Picked up a Sony DSCS30 Digicam today for 195.00 after discounts (display and no memory) Found the memory in the box when I got home.....takes VERY nice pics......supposed to be dropping to 120.00 on the 30 of March.....find if you can and buy now, then go back to get a pricematch.....

Palm IIIxe drops to $147.88 tomorrow ($159.88 today). That's what the store manager told me today when he was looking up price drops. Picked up a DSC S30 cam in the sealed box too. Also, he said no price drops were in the system for the Sony Camera through the 31st. You never know though.
 
FYI, the $20 off $20 coupon is still useable in South Carolina. Just grab about $60 stuff this afternoon.

Picked up the MS Sidewinder gamevoice for $4.92 ... last one left so I didn't get a box *sniff* Cool gadget but I don't feel like figuring out how to use it yet. But it WAS cheap ... LoL

Isn't that how we justify half this crap ? Anyhoo, the sales lady also clued me in to a 10 pack of Post-It notes for 88 cents too. WooHoo !
 
I got a sidewinder voice as well. In Houston they were all gone overnight at four stores I visit.

The head set alone is SUPER nice even if you never use the base... it is worth $20 by itself
 
Does anyone have any info about whether the Palm IIIxe will drop in price again? I went and picked one up at my local OD and used a Staples $20 off $100 coupon (didn't have any other printable one that was for use in store). If someone has a printable coupon for a higher $ off value, feel free to email it to me😀. I only bought it in hopes the price would drop lower. Any add'l info would be appreciated.

btw, according to the Mgr it IS OD's policy to accept competitors coupons. But as we all know Mgr's seem to make up their own policies.
