IMO the cheapest price for a 6gb 7970 oc will be $650+ but more realistically $700-750, this is assuming no price cuts on any chips. If amd does price cuts on 7900 then this thing can come as cheap as $600+

Sapphire Toxic editions aren't usually insanely over priced. The closed loop atomic model is the one that's going to cost $650-$700+ depending on AMD's price adjustment. Which will probably only be down to $500 when Nvidia finally starts getting more supply out.

I was told by the supplier that this card will be avalible within a month in
Australia, it is already on his books for shipment
It was only about a year ago i said that AMD would bring out another video card with a massive amount of vRAM and call it the mother load,
well i got the name wrong but look here come the card.

Now this card is going to chance the standards of vRAM on all video cards from now on.

Just one of these cards will keep most computer buffs happy for a long time to come.
and as far as power use is concerned it will not use more power in one month than you airconditioner would in 30 minutes of running 2 or 3 dollars AU PER MONTH, so stop whinning about the power consumpion,

As AMD snap the crown back from NV .
