"Need" and not committing political suicide are two different things.

The truth is always political suicide. Time for politicians who hope to save us to self emulate. Notice the good cheer I have generated in this thread.

Then you agree that he probably shouldn't have said it ;)

Talk about grabasstic logic, your posts are filled with it.

The Muslim family next door and the one down the street do not support nor approve the actions the Islamic Extremist that are doing evil things in the name of their religion. I fear them the same as I do the Christian and Atheist families that live on our street.

If you're stupid enough to go to Syria now I have no sympathy for you as you would be doing so knowing the dangers.

Likely the boards and locks on his doors are as plentiful as the ones he used to hide his cowardliness. I don't think there's any risk at all of him going to Syria.

What logic do you want. If us Christians don't start killing millions of Mooslims we are all going to die. Stop pointing your gun out of your pacifistic Christian ass.

If the time were to come I hope they draft your ass first. The war in the middle east will be an on going battle for at least 100 years. Muslims have been fighting Christians for hundreds of years. Frankly all this shit is gonna come to a head one day with Iran and the A-bomb and then we'll see who's pointing the proverbial gun.

No, Everything he said made perfect sense to me, consider the mote in your own eye, a very very very Christian thing to say. Just ask Doc Savage Fan. He was telling us not to go insane, that the other is us, that as we have faith in our own evolution from our darker past, others will also evolve, that the power of love and justice and truth always win in the end. But ye cowards have so little faith.

Did you not read post #7???

No Christian would deny that many Christians in history have violated the precepts of Christ by mistreating others and even committing atrocities in the name of Christ. However, Adams rightly observes that one must go against Christian doctrine to do so. Not so with Islam—since violence is sanctioned:

Have you read the old testament?

You are a psychopath. You make me laugh. Coward! Did you shit in your pants when the Groundhog saw it's shadow?

Actually, I say that because you're an arrogant shit head on the surface, but in reality and beneath the surface, a deeply damaged child for whom I have great pity. I hope you get medical attention.

Yup, you got it and it's also your feeling it's low life. To me your just a sleeping killing machine ready to go berserk the first time somebody points out your true reality. Have at it, Bonkers Man. I have only been saying exactly this for a thousand years, that we will kill before we allow ourselves to feel what we feel. You are a coward who would rather people die than that you see. I told you, you have a dangerous disease. This is our reality. Of course, because you are emotionally a child, you want to personalize this and pretend that only you are singled out to be offended. I have known this truth to be true of me also for a thousand years. Grow up, baby.

You really have outdone yourself, and that's no small feat. You get that I am a sleeping killing machine ready to go berserk, my mindset has lead to the killing of millions of people, I am a coward who would rather people die than feel what I feel, all from the fact that conservatives tend to scare at a scary picture longer than liberals. I would love to just blame this on your own stupidity and denial that nobody can have any real opinion that differs from yours without being mentally defective, but you are really looking at all of that in your rear view mirror. You are on a level all to yourself.

You are attacking the wrong person. My post exclusively said it was dumb "politically." You agree with what I said:

Your thinking is upside down. The size of the constituency is exactly why it needed to be said.

The truth is always political suicide.

You claim it needed to be said, but the truth is political suicide. As politician, he probably shouldn't commit political suicide ;)

You are a low life sack of shit trying to say I have the same thought process that leads to the death of millions.

All Christians and Muslims have that same thought process: They dont believe in the same god as we do so they must be converted or killed.

Number of people killed in crusades: 3,000,000
http://necrometrics.com/pre1700a.htm#Crusades

people killed in Spanish inquisition:
"No one knows exactly how many people perished because of the Inquisition, but it is thought to be between 3,000 and 5,000 people during the 350 years of its existence"

http://www.strangenotions.com/spanish-inquisition/
pesky facts.

oy,too much clickbait..will fix.
fixed.
Number of people killed in the name of Allah:

"Islam ran the wholesale slave trade in Africa."
"This gives a rough estimate of 270 million killed by jihad."

http://www.politicalislam.com/tears-of-jihad/

Let's do a little math; You are 90x more likely to be killed by a Muslim than a Christian.
They have killed 90x more people than Christians.

You forgot the millions killed in Africa, Asia and N & S America by the catholics and the protestants.

Nope. It isn't cut or dry. Christians would like to convert you, but they aren't going to kill you if you don't convert. That is ridiculous to say. Obviously you haven't been around many christians or you are delusional.

If you have to dredge up examples from decades or even centuries ago, to find something matching the brutality of Islam today, that kinda says something.

Here sunshine, instead of assuming what Obama's message is and calling people names for not getting the message, why don't you listen it yourself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcPSLgXr1vQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=0

It's a pretty simple message. Any one with an education above 1st grade should be able to tell you as he said it pretty directly. We don't blame all of Christianity for the violent historical or current acts of some Christians, we can't attack an entire religion for the acts of the monsters that claim to represent it. The American far right is trying to start some Christianity vs Islam religious war, and it takes level-headed individuals like our President to keep that from happening. The only way to stop the radical groups in Islam is to get the moderate members of that religion to help. Alienating them by blaming all of Islam for the acts of groups like ISIL or Boko Haram isn't just stupid, it's dangerous.

I don't understand how the far right is so badly misunderstanding the President's message. Well, I get the why, not the how. The why is because you've gotta be majorly mentally disabled to be a conservative, the how to understand would require me to beat my head with a claw hammer until I suffered major brain damage.

You're hysterical. Take a deep breath and calm down. The Muslim hordes don't even know that you exist (lucky them).

Muslims vote democrat though, they are on the winning team so that top image doesn't count.
