I want to think the point he trying to make was that not all muslims are a part of these radical few, but its more like he's throwing a millennia old war at christians to say they did it too. But what's the point in that? We are living in the present. Christians aren't blowing people up nearly every day. I'm Christian, Catholic at that and I'm not sure why I should be insulted. His message is to those people who try to paint all Muslims with the same brush as ISIS and those who kill in the name of Muslims. There was a time where Christians, did equally heinous things in the name of Christianity. That didn't and doesn't speak for all Christianity why should what ISIS does speak for all Muslims.

If you get insulted by things like this you probably shouldn't read any history.
