Yeah I must have gotten dead sick of this game after only 2 weeks of casual play. At least it lasted a bit longer than Morrowind.

If Oblivion had as good a combat system like Mount & Blade I'd probably have put 1,200 hours into it too :)

This should help.

Doesn't have a direct designation for the Quake Ruin, but thanks for that map anyways, I will be using it! :) I'll do some more searching for the direct 'Quake Ruin'.

I believe thats a seperate expansion, BUT.....
They can be used or not used interchangably, without affecting the other. So you can buy and install them in any order.
ALSO, knights of the nine Retail includes all the little 2 dollar expansions that Bethesda has put out so far, all for 20 bucks. So its like getting either them or knights of the nine for free.

probably not

search TES forums ... use my username in search also if you can't find it

it is nothing special ... just a wildly tilted tower well-hidden in an Oblivion plane
[a couple of random chests, nothing spectacular]

the only thing that made it 'special' was that yours truly 'discovered' it 6 months after every place in Cyrodiil was considered 'already found' :p

i guess i get SI next week ...

LMK if you can't find it

btw, i also discovered the wabbajack as the *most powerful* weapon -period

--when used 'properly' [or really, "improperly"] it is a *cheat* for PC users that will destroy ANY single enemy

that's what you get when you spend over 1,000 hours examining a games mechanics

I found it!
It's a freakin cool dungeon, albeit a little empty.
Yeah; the Wabbajack is incredibly powerful; if it works in your favor. ;)
:p I've turned a many a deadly minotaur lord into a measly rat with that fun thing. ;)

Yeah. :p I would do stuff like that, but I let things happen in games. I only save after missions/finishing dungeon delves/big fights. I try to let the game naturally cause me to live or die, and then I reload my earlier save and reevaluate and replay the situation. It's a lot more fun that way and makes the games last longer.

well, i did that for the first almost thousand hours ... :p
[no fast travel, no console or cheats, nor any mods .. 'till i got the message at Level 92 "you cannot level up any further ... you have maxed all of your abilities"
:Q

i got really *creative* after that for the next 250 hours and did *everything* including some great fan made quests [Kumiko's manor/tower of the lick king and related 3 quests]
:D

i am *starting over* in SI

Pretty interesting so far... I'm about 3 hours in.

Already have some pretty decent new weaponry and armor - the Daedric Longsword is no longer my 'utility' weapon, anyway, and I can confirm that there is better armor than glass/daedric (I suppose this should have been obvious).

did you start over or import your character?

No technical improvements, but the look of the game still amazes me after playing Stalker for a while.

And yes, completely stable :p.

I'm using my old 'main' for now. There's no actual importing, you wait for 24 hours with any character and a quest will show up to begin the expansion.

you mean 24 hours oblivion time or 'real time'?

Oblivion time :p.

Of note, this timer begins when you exit the sewers.

How are the game balances. I Played vanilla with OOO and Attack&hide mods.

Honestly, some of the baddies seem a little tougher... I'm a level 46, so I hadn't been 'challenged' by the game in a while, but it can get hectic with three guys on me now - enough so that I sometimes have to use potions :x. It's basically the same game, though, just new content (which is a good thing).

Argh!! I wasn't keeping up with what was going with Oblivion and had no idea this was coming out. I just sold my copy of Oblivion last week. :( Is it worth buying Oblivion again just for this?
