These guys aren't conservative they are nutters, conspiracy theorists, and people who generally suffer from some sort of mental disorder (it's why most of them are on meds). Before the Internet these would be the guys you'd see walking around talking to themselves, they would often stay closed up in their homes/vans/box etc, with the Internet they now have a voice and a way to spread their crazy. Only other crazy people pay attention to them and only other crazy people believe what they are saying which only helps to reinforce their crazy beliefs.
