I don't really see what Romney offers that Huntsman can't offer better.
but do you really think the tea party will have a significant voice? the candidates of the far right all fell flat in 2008.
Most Presidential election are very close. I don't how what % the TEA Party represents, but it won't have to be much to influence the outcome.
Remember Nader? He got only a few % and many complain he threw the election to the Repubs.
IMO (and I'm an admitted poor campaign predictor) Romney can't win if the TEA Party refuses to vote for him, or worse, runs an independant candidate.
