I realize as the night goes on that the posts here become sloppier, the spelling worse and the comprehension lags. The president said his second-year agenda will be refocused on uniting the country around common values, ''whether we're Democrats or Republicans.''
You are a nut. You can't seriously doubt the intent of that remark. Without unity we are finished. I suppose you revel in dissension.Arrogance? Seriously, you must be on crack.
A couple of questions for you. First, WWYBYWB?Obama isn't strong enough to have the iron fist it would require to rectify you. The frenzy Fox News puts you guys in might seem really silly and unnecessary to most (and it is), but it will come in handy for you if we achieve what we're trying to do. It is unfortunate (for you) that all of the activists seeking social change are on the Left. We need more than Obama Change, and it is coming.
Just how would Stephen Hawking be able to do this?I don't understand how the smartest man to ever walk the face of the planet is not able to accomplish this.
Just how would Stephen Hawking be able to do this?
Obama has not polarized the US, it was polarized before he ever got here. He made a good faith effort to reduce partisanship and it didn't work.
Such is life.
The fact that you're a racist has nothing to do with your approval or disapproval of Obama, you showed you were a racist a looooooong time before he ever showed up. Some of your disapproval of Obama is probably due to your racism, but I'm sure you disagree with him heavily on ideological grounds. In short your racism is a completely separate issue from your extreme right wing politics.
As for what a trend has to do with what I wrote, I have no idea. His current approval rating in many polls is fairly close to his percentage of the vote on election day, trends are irrelevant to that point. (good job picking the poll that consistently polls to the right of other pollsters by the way)
To be fair, Steven Hawking hasn't walked the face of the planet in a long time.
Too soon?
I don't recall what he did to reduce partisanship....please elaborate.Obama has not polarized the US, it was polarized before he ever got here. He made a good faith effort to reduce partisanship and it didn't work.
Such is life.
Dude, that's just wrong
No, that is highly unreasonable and your are a troll. Those polls are not proof that he is incompetent. They only show that Americans are undecided where the country should go vis a vis health care. We knew this. Anyone with sense knew that it was going to be a long time before the dust settles in the health care arena in the USA. They have known this since Hillary Clinton was jobbed by the insurance industry in the 90's.I realize as the night goes on that the posts here become sloppier, the spelling worse and the comprehension lags.
Let me reiterate. Doubt the intent? Not for a second. Is he capable? Not in the slightest.
One example for you. Polls show 60% of the people do not support the health care bill being hammered out in secret right now despite numerous claims of transparency. Do you think it's realistic to expect the American people to unite behind a leader that revels in poking a sharp stick in their ass?
Does that seem reasonable to you?
I'm on crack? Really?
So, does it make sense for Obama to say it's his priority to rally the populace around common values? I believe it does. Nothing else would suffice. Bombastic Boomerang has hit himself in the head again.IMO, nothing and no one short of catastrophe will bring this country together. The vitriol of partisan alignment is thicker than blood, race or background. Our country is falling apart and the people sit around and argue about endless minutiae. Nice.
Say what?? The FIRST thing congress did after he took over was pass the huge pork filled stimulus bill along a party line vote.Obama has not polarized the US, it was polarized before he ever got here. He made a good faith effort to reduce partisanship and it didn't work.
Such is life.
Good faith is when the Republicans agree to do whatever it is the Democrats want. There won't be any good faith efforts until they suit him and he needs it due to slim or no majorities in Congress (or election polls). It's naive to think otherwise.

What do you mean their will???Good points. The conservatives now though seem to be as in love with using the power of government to enforce their will as are the liberals, witness the plethora of attempted popular votes and amendments to ban gay marriage (i.e. it's not enough to let things remain as they are, we must work to set them in stone lest they be changed in the future.)

They never even tried to work with Republicans.
Sweet lord. Thank you for displaying the stereotypical liberal mindset, full of hate and racial identity politics even while decrying the concept of race (which is an artificial concept imposed by our natural inclination to order things into neat, tidy groups.). Forcefully imposing multiracial marriages? Sheesh! Another liberal yearning for the golden days of the killing fields and the Iron Curtain. That's great. I hope all the Republicans here can enjoy knowing you're nailing a white woman EVERY NIGHT. I'm sure it is very satisfying knowing you're enjoying one of their own, she is probably the daughter of a good conservative Republican like them.
The only people who would have a problem with your situation are Republicans and everyone else who believes in the concept of race (most people).
Those who understand science know there is no significant difference between you and your wife.
It would do the world a lot of good if multiracial marriages were encouraged or forcefully imposed upon all peoples. Thank you for braving these people, I'm sure you've dealt with a lot of unnecessary bullsht in your wonderful years you've spent together.
Campaign promise number 19374656267 broken.

What do you mean their will???
I think you meant to say the people's will because every time people are given a chance to vote on it they vote against gay marriage. Heaven forbid that one party actually listens to what the voters want.
Meanwhile the Democrats are trying to force through a bill that a clear majority of the country does not like.
Tell me again which party is doing the will of the people and which is following its own political agenda.
I don't recall what he did to reduce partisanship....please elaborate.
