Obama being exposed as a phony and a loser

I'm never one to give the right-wingers praise, but they are sure looking right about Obama being wholly unqualified to hold office.

I simply cannot believe what a spineless, gutless, coward of a President he has been thus far. At a time when we need leadership, he is nowhere to be found. All his speeches have amounted to nothing that actually matters for the American people. I'm beyond furious at his failure to lead Congress and this nation and sincerely regret voting for him in the primaries over Hilary. I don't particularly care for Hilary, but I do know she would never bend over and whimper the way Obama is right now.

I dare say if this continues Obama deserves a boot after his first term. There is no excuse for his pathetic failure to lead at this very moment. No excuse.

I'm having a hard time seeing how this thread really adds any value. You haven't focused your criticism on any particular issue - it just reads like a wholesale screed against President Obama. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but you really haven't posted much in the way of intelligible criticism.

Yes this is the 2nd thread that has been started recently where there is no point/counterpoint to be made.

?

Obama's trying to be moderate like Bill Clinton but the problem is that our problems can't be solved by traditional methods. Who would be better than Obama? A lunatic Tea Partier removing the entire welfare state? A more partisan Democrat who would try to spend their way out of the problem? Until someone comes who's willing to look at the real problems, overly-rapid globalization, I'll take Obama as the best of the bad alternatives.

Hah.

Clinton's idea of moderating meant going along with Republican's reforms and policies, because they were popular and he wanted to get re-elected.

Obama's idea of moderating is to blame Republicans for not capitulating to his every demand and blaming Bush for everything that's wrong with the country.

Leadership has nothing to do with right/left or moderate/extremist. He failed to get a real deal done on the debt ceiling with any substantive reforms. Now no one in this forum was in the room so we will never know what really went down, but he's the President. At the end of the day it's his responsibility to find solutions and build consensus.

The only reasonable replacement for him would be Hilary Clinton, surely none of the Republican Assclowns running.

Hilary would have kicked some serious Republican ass.

LOL. Hillary couldn't keep her cheating husband in line while he was busy humiliating her. There is no way she would kick anyone's ads.

*snicker*

she's got the political game down and the clinton name on her back. Of course she would win.
She is either going to a). run against Obama and we'll have a 3-person ballot (unlikely) or Obama will be told not to run again, and she'll run in his place, and win.

On the contrary, she already has experience with the Right Wingnut attack machine with their Whitewater Bullshit and their Ken Starr attack dog and came out on top, she even weathered her husbands indescretions and came out stronger and now is one of the most admired public figures in America. There's not one Republican or either gender that can hoild a candle to her.

Obama on the other hand is looking more and more like Gerald Ford, a good man who followed a disasterous Administration that was full of crooks and assholes. Both would do a good job is not burdened with the previous Administrations fucking over of the country.

Well is she doesn't run next year she'll run in 2016 as there is no way any of the Republican Assclowns can do any better than Obama, especially when they'll be beholding to the Dumb Ass Teabaggers.

Bush labelled himself the decider. Well, sure, but all the decisions he made were in favor of the rich and look what that did to the economy.

So here we have Obama lebelling himself the waffler. He preferrs to be some kind of referee and let Congress bloody themselves in a dirty free-for-all scrap while he sits back in judgement of it all and then steps in nice and clean except from some splatter and sides with the apparent winner of the melee....with a few conditions of his own slipped in to make it look like he mattered somehow. And look what that caused.

Then we have the Tea Party labelling themselves the brick wall through which nothing passes...unless of course, the object is exactly and precisely shaped the way they want it to look, smell, taste, feel and sound.

They, as a party, have been absolutely silent of late, preferring to let everybody else point fingers in all directions and play the blame game. Now, in my book, with the Tea Party staying mute and not even defending themselves, it looks so so suspiciously strange for them to behave this way when, up til now, they were the ones stomping up and down screaming at the top of their lungs demanding their voices be heard OR ELSE.

Well, here we are at OR ELSE.

So Tea Party, speak up. Boehner said you got 80% of what you wanted. Happy now? Willing to take the jerk for helping to make things better for yourselves by making things worse for everybody else?

Speak up like you used to, where noone could shut you guys up til you got your way.
