Only by the current equivalents of the people who used to walk around with "Bush Kills!" and "9/11 was an inside job!" signs. How does it feel to be in that kind of company?

There are many great reasons you wouldn't want to send a sitting president's destitute aunt back to a place like Kenya (besides him being a fascist dictator). If you can't see that, then I guess there's no hope.

So your not familar with symbolism? Common Courtesy is correct when he says this is a nail in Obama's coffin come reelection time. Perhaps you have forgotten about Willie Horton?

The GOP can chant "Deport, baby, deport!" on their way to a new historical low percentage of the Latino vote.

Actually this new Arizona law is a godsend for the Democratic Latino vote in 2010. Latinos are feeling singled out, and understand that registering and voting is their only way of fighting back.
if there's one thing Latinos will support, it's Obama's relatives being given amnesty while their own get deported.

So you advocate pandering to criminals (illegal aliens) just to get your candidates elected? I can't say I'm surprised to hear that after reading your other posts.

I'll continue "pandering" to immigrants and you continue to lose elections. Deal?

Meh. People who oppose illegal immigration and think justice should be blind already oppose Obama. People who favor illegal immigration and think justice should "look out for the little guy" and the law be damned already support Obama. The only people he could lose are those who support one but not the other - although granted, ATP&N makes those numbers look significant. But while Dukakis proudly supported his program to furlough violent criminals not elegible for parole, the only rap on Obama for this is that we "all know" he did it.

If this is a nail it's a little bitty one. Maybe it's a hangnail in his coffin?

Except the US voting public already knew about Obama's illegal aunt in 2008 before the election. How well did that work out?

How well did any of the GOP's efforts to tie Obama to other people work out? Jeremiah Wright? Bill Ayers? Obama bin Laden? Huge Chavez? Bueller? Bueller?

Those nails have already been driven. Any new nails for 2012? Because if you don't have anything *really* good, chances are it'll get drowned out anyway when Obama outspends the GOP 2:1 in his re-election campaign. As the incumbent, he has enough insider access to bank that first $300 million like a walk-in-the-park.

He won the previous election because he wasn't a Republican, not because he had any merit of his own. Now he has an actual record for people to judge - a record of corruption, implementing idiotic policies, and going out of his way in breaking virtually every campaign promise he made. Anyone who thinks he's been a good president is no better than anyone who thought Bush was a good president - both were/are absolutely terrible in every way. That said, I do have some sympathy for those who voted for Obama simply because they were naive enough to believe all of the BS he was charismatically shoveling down your throats. If you make the same mistake again, now that his failure is laid bare for you to see, you will be in the same circle of hell as the people that voted for Bush the second time around.

Yep, including the Latino's and now they are going to want their special exceptions also. I don't think the majority of Americans favor another amnesty, especially after we have seen how the last one worked out so Obama is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I voted for Obama and fought tooth and nail for universal helath care coverage, but if Obama is justgoing to let people into this country and become citizens whose only qualifactions is being able to walk long distances... well, he lost my support. Badda bing, badda boom.

Are you really that simple-minded? No wonder everything in our government is such a mess. *facepalm* Maybe this is more on your level.

Has Obama:

withdrawn troops from Iraq or Afghanistan: no
decreased spending: no
exploded the deficit: yes
fixed immigration: no
broken healthcare delivery even more: yes
brought new transparency to government: no
decreased corruption: no

Unfortunately, this post is a waste of electrons as you made up your mind to vote for the idiot as soon as he won the Democratic primary in 2008 and you will continue to vote for him as long as he is the Democratic candidate. How are you any different from the people who voted for Bush twice, other than the fact that your D doesn't have legs on it like their R?

edit: One more glaring example of Obama-turned-Bush:
There was some rich irony at the White House today -- President Obama signed the Press Freedom Act, and then promptly refused to take any questions.

The new law expands the State Department's annual human rights reports to include a description of press freedoms in each country. It seemed a good opportunity to showcase press freedom in this country.

Recall that last Friday the president refused to take any questions after delivering his angry statement on the oil spill in the Rose Garden. And he has not held a prime-time White House news conference in many months, despite much pleading from pundits and members of the media.

So after he signed the bill, and as the press "wranglers" began aggressively herding us out of the room, I asked if he still has confidence in BP. He ignored the question so I tried this: "In the interest of press freedom, would you take a couple questions on BP?"

That did elicit a smile, and he told me I was free to ask questions. Someone else shouted, "Will you answer them?"

He said he's not holding a press conference today as we were escorted out the door.

You apparently are as stupid (partisian?) as the people who still think Saddam has WMD's hidden in the desert and still think Bush did a good job.

Cool story bro.

I'm still never voting for any anti-gay-marriage, anti-abortion whackjobs from the GOP.

As long as you're willing to admit that you're a partisan idiot, I'll give you credit for being honest.
Please let us know when you've decided on a candidate to support in 2012. I'm sure he/she will be clean as a whistle.

You pretend like it matters who else is running, yet you've already thrown your hat in the ring with a known failure. I will let you know if there's anyone actually worth supporting this time around, but unlike you, I'll wait to see who else is running before deciding.

Not that I disagree with any of that, but freedom of the press doesn't necessarily mean the press is entitled to answers.

ATP&N actually makes me think that Obama might well lose over his love (whether real or just politically necessary) of illegal immigration. Still, when it gets to the actual election it's going to be quite difficult for liberals to pull that "R" lever - or even vote Green or Socialist knowing the Republican might win. At the end of the day it's still a two-party contest, which usually means voting for the lesser evil.

Agreed. I mostly posted that because one of the most common complaints on P&N was that Bush never held press conferences or answered questions, yet Obama is staying the course despite his promises to the contrary.

Fixed, especially the BOLDED part.

You and your kind (ILLEGAL immigrant advocates and lovers) are NOT speaking for me, my family, and millions <note the plural> of LEGAL immigrants that follow EXISTING Federal immigration laws and regulations.

LEGALS =/ ILLEGALS. Period.

Unless you're implying that Obama should have personally intervened and had his aunt deported, this changes nothing. Like I said earlier, no immigration judge in his right mind would've deported her considering the violence in Kenya and her relation to the POTUS. This isn't really difficult to understand. No matter how much you may hate it, she was a special case and that is why she got special treatment, not necessarily from the POTUS directly.

BO did not need to get involve. The woman already been ordered to be deported several years ago but she blew it off.

When I said BO = Bush "light", I mean he continues the same pandering policy of previous administrations (note the plural) that exist for years (again, note the plural). He needs to make a "change" as he pledged => to do his job, follow the existing Federal immigation laws, protect the borders of the US instead of contine the pandering policy to ILLEGALS and said AZ policy was "misguided".

Arizona's new law simply legalizes racial profiling.

How many 50 year old white guys are going to be asked by the police for their immigration papers during a traffic stop? Zero.

How many 30 year old Latinos are going to be asked by the police for their immigration papers during a traffic stop? Tons.

But I'm all for it. Nothing drives the legal Latino community to the voting booths like being persecuted by your Republican members of government. I'm betting the Democrats can pull 70% or better in the Latino vote in the upcoming election cycles.

Again, you failed, big time.

What is the percentage of ILLEGALS that are Hispanics crossing the border in AZ/CA/TX illegally?

What is the percentage of ILLEGALS that are other races such as white and from Sweden?

Do you see the light at the end of the tunnel yet?

How about this. Let say there are a few holdups at the liquor stores and the perps are young black males. Therefore, the cops are looking for young black males and not whites. Is that racist or is that good common sense police work? I know, your answer would be "it is all Bush's fault/Republicans did it/Democrats and BO are the greatest".

I am neither D or R or T or anything. I am just a US citizen and a first generation of LEGAL immigrant and I expect everyone that want to move here to FOLLOW the existing Federal immigration law. Since when it is racist to enforce EXISTING Federal immigration law? Give me one country on Earth, just one, that let ILLEGAL immigrants to stay and become citizens. I am waiting

The LEGAL Hispanics did not like the ILLEGALS much either. Polls after polls taken about the new law in AZ showed that the majority of people (in AZ and across the US) support it. Show me any polls stated otherwise.

One more thing, I am not white so your "racist" law bigot scare tactic doesn't work on me either.
