I got some square wires but the lenses got pretty scratched up so i recently replaced the Ice polarized lenses with Gold Iridium polarized. I love mine. 😀

I have a pair of square wire 2.0's and love em. Not just the brand, but they're the only ones that I found that looks decent on me.

I have the Square Wire 2.0 also. I finally jumped and actually bought real sunglasses last year. Wow they are great.
Worth every penny.

I love them, they're great at blocking out sunlight, lightweight, and stylish.

I've owned two pairs of A-Wires so far. My current ones are four years old, unfortunately the spring hinge on the right arm broke (a little epoxy fixed that), but other than that no complaints. I'd more than likely buy Oakley again.

Ive currently have a pair of half jackets.... they are awesome. I am pretty tough on my sunglasses and broke every cheap pair I bought but I havent been able to break the half jackets yet even after stepping on them a few times.

200 bucks for sunglasses that cost $8 to make... no thanks. Any glas with UV coating will work exactly the same

sImply tinting a lens makes it worse for your eyes.... it takes a little more than that to make a good pair of sunglasses

$200 is overpriced, but then again since when were glasses in cheap?

Oakley questions..

Did your cousin buy them from a store ? if so, does it have serial number on the glasses or just the word oakley ? im just curious.. i see some on ebay but i dont know jack about them... thanks..

He did get them at a store, Scheels-All-Sport I think. And I don't know for sure, but I think it just says Oakley on them. I was looking for them on ebay too, the feedback for the seller I'm looking at is great and the price is cheaper, plus no tax. My cousin payed $210 and got slammed big with taxes. Oh well, not my money.

They can get pretty spendy on that site, but my cousin just bought some and they are really very nice and come with a cool lifetime warranty. They are very comfortable and light and if they block UV rays, than . I don't know about $210 nice, but meh, lifetime warranty.

He has these, the blue ones.

I have the square wire as RX glasses. Stay away from the spring hinge though I have my 3rd pair now in 3 years (one of the hinges always broke after a year or so). The last time I changed them to the non spring hinge version - I hope those will last longer than a year....

Other than that oakley are great, but very expensive (here in Germany anyway)

Find a guy that sells knock offs out of the trunk of his car. I bought some like this a couple years ago, and the things are damn good! They do everything the real ones do, and then some. 😉

I Paid $50 for them. They have served me well. 🙂

I have worn the same pair of Oakleys for around 8 years now before i started to even get small scratches on them, and i wear them every time i go out. I think I am going to order me a new pair somtime in the next month or so. Im looking at the Polarized Hatchet for $230. The current ones i bought for about $100.

I like them. For driving though I usually wear a pair of Ray Ban polarized sunglasses.

I have a pair of Specialized sunglasses for cycling because the Ray Bans slide down my nose when I sweat and my Oakleys aren't good for high speed descents. Something about the way air moves around them makes my eyes tear up like mad. Also, the lenses in the Specialized glasses will turn darker in direct sunlight but lighten when it is overcast or I'm in the shadows.

Edit-I wouldn't say they are the best you can buy but they aren't bad. They certainly have name brand recognition.

those spike ones are pretty nice. I have a pair of Smith's i use for mountain biking. Besides that i got a pair of cheesy av's.

I actually been trying to find a knock off version of my square wire 2.0. I play beach volleyball and want something that i dont mind getting scratched by the sand.

i have a pair of oakley fear polarized sunglasses. loved 'em so much.

my ex whose her father is friends with authorized dealer of oakley sunglasses. i got them for $40 instead $220 listed on the website a year ago. that was a steal. 😀

I've had a pair for 4 or 5 years now, they are the best sunglasses I have ever had and have held up great. I think they were $130 or so back then. I had a few knock off pairs as well, but they always fell apart and werent as comfortable.

Back from the dead! I went searching for Oakley threads because I just resurrected my pair of Juliets with black iridium polarized lenses. My orignal non-polarized lenses were destroyed when they fell (from my hand, not my head), down a hillside of sharp rocks. Sucked. But now they're back!
