So you reduce the money from selling AMD bundle but dont do the same for nv? ..........

didn't you read my post? I was clearly looking for a gaming bundle from nvidia, and but I didn't see any these two weeks on newegg. that's why the 670 wasn't a good deal for me.

Cheapest 670 was $360 when I was looking, and it didn't have a memory rewrite in the pipe :colbert:

Looks like cheapest on egg is $350 AMIR with nothing.

Pretty sure that's the 800MHz 7950, look at the power consumption numbers.

Edit: As an aside, that card looks awesome for mitx.

I wouldn't have jumped Nvidia if it wasn't for the $338 deal I got. Even that was slightly more than I wanted to spend, but after my 5850 I wanted to try Nvidia again. Turns out so far it didn't matter.. much of what bugged me still bugs me with Nvidia (however some things are better). Oh well. Next time I will just go with what is cheaper. I did have some driver problems with the 11 and 12 series and finally stopped at the 12.1 because they worked best.

Again, that's an 800MHz 7950. Also, I hope it's not really $395. It needs to compete with THESE. Which beat the 670 by about the same amount as the 670 beats the 800MHz 7950. Those will be ancient drivers for the original 7950 benches as well.

Um, the card in question is like 17 cm long, it's not competing with those huge cards it's a niche card.

Something is wrong when a 17cm 670 is niche.

All of the reference PCBs were 175cm. That extra bulk comes from a plastic extension on the cooler with no purpose. They should have all been 175cm from factory.

It's taken far too long for someone to actually produce this miniature cooler. And then to charge on top of that? Well, it is ASUS, and they do like to overcharge, but this is kind of ridiculous. It's a nice fan design, however.

I blame all the size queens for the 9+" cards.

Did you read the review and see what card it is?
