Does it allow you to go up to 20%? My 250w 780 only allowed for 10% (275W)

TBH when Gaming, this card isn't often limited by power. Although it might end up being if I can get the voltage above 1v.

In nvinspector I can go up to 20%. On the Maxwell Titan it was lower. I've gotten that Titan to nearly 400w with a BIOS mod. It happened even in Fallout 4. The perfcap reason is power limit reached.

With this card I'll first have to put the hybrid cooler on it and wait for BIOS mods. I wonder if 2100 is a hard limit though. I could get 2100Mhz easily and it ran perfectly but when I added even 20Mhz it crashed Heaven. Of course I tested this with 100% fan. I'm not taking any chances.

Mine will be here tomorrow.

Blocks are up for preorder now : https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc-titan-x-pascal-acetal-nickel

Looks like 2 weeks until delivery. Going to have to decide if I want to tear down my loop and run it on air for a few weeks, to tear it down and rebuild it again after I get my block. :p

I'm hoping the guys on overclock.net find a way to mod the bios for this card to increase its voltage. They've generally been able to for all the flagship cards the past few generations.

Nice to see SLi results. Going to have to sit out of the SLi club this time around, I did not enjoy the scaling I got with my dual 1080s at all.

Oh the life of a custom water cooler!

On a smaller scale I was able to snag the EK block for the GTX 1080 BEFORE I could locate the GTX 1080 so my turnaround on rebuilding wasn't too long. I would probably wait until the blocks came until I would tear down your present system. Too much duplication of effort to run the Titans on air.

I'll get the Kill-A-Watt out tonight and see how it compares to the two 1080s.

Also anxious for these results. The hybrid cooler has so far had excellent results.

Nerves of steel, dude. I wouldn't dare mess with a card that expensive, especially given how mechanically disinclined I am :p

Please leave detailed instructions and pics if possible Annis! I'm thinking of doing the same.

You better do the same, it's so easy and I just ran a Valley bench on stock clocks: 44C max temp...

@ Dookey: I followed this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1601323/gtx-1080-fe-ref-hybrid-guide-minimal-tools-clean-look for both my 1080 and the Titan XP, the coolers are essentially the same (same screw positions etc.) Unlike with my 1080, I did not accidentally snip one of the wires in half when removing the stock fan 4 pin plug - so be careful of that step if you choose to do it. It's probably also a really good idea to have some good case airflow on the card to make sure the VRMs stay nice and cool because you are losing a large portion of the shroud.

Temps are 44C at stock clocks, gonna O/C this badboy and if they ever release a custom BIOS what they heck I'll try that out too.
