is it just me or do the benchmarks not scale properly? i mean some theres a huge increase and the card is faster than or close enough to a 4600 to make it moot. and in others the overclock isn't anything. thats... screwed up.

No wonder nVidia delayed this baby for 2 months, they needed the time to ramp up production so they'll be able to ship the 1 billion or so that will eventually be sold. ;)

A card faster than a Ti500 (and with more features) for $150 online by the time May/June rolls around is ridiculous, am I dreaming. :D

SOmeone posted that 128MB version would have slower RAM (444Mhz DDR) compared to 64 MB one (500Mhz DDR).

Any confirm on this? will it be physically different RAM or just clock lower (prolly willbe make dependent)

Great performance at a great price. This really is going to be a killer card and nVidia is going to sell a tonne of them.

GF4 Ti4200 performs better than $350 Ti4600 when OCed???

(1) Overclocks are never guaranteed.
(2) The Ti4600 can be overclocked too.

It's not just you. I think the first benchmark (DroneZ) is the real offender. The Ti4200 oc'ed to 285/565 beating the Ti4600 (300/650) c'mon get real! Aquamark and Quake III show correct looking results with the overclocked Ti4200 not even being as fast as a Ti4400 in the former and nudging it in the latter. I'd give my $30 bucks more to the Ti4400 and not have to deal with the overclock, or give my $30 bucks more to a Ti4400 and get a higher overclock.

<< Why just 64MB RAM??????? >>

Im still asking why 128MB?

Does anything over 64MB even get used at less than super high resolutions ?
