I bought a Geforce 4 Ti 4400 because i was planning on running dual monitors and because I wanted to be able to play all my games with all the features enabled. I love how it plays in games. The only problem is that right after I bought the video card, my girlfriend told me I was spending to much money and that she didn't want me buying anymore computer items since we are getting married next year. So no second monitor for me. :(

BTW, the 2D quality is really good. I have the EVGA card with the normal cooling unit. Everyone who gets a Geforce 4 should also enable Vibrance Control. It makes such a difference I think.

I want one. I only need to convince myself that I need one. Since I need to lose a few extra pounds, I could put my lunch money into the "Ti4200 or bust" saving account.

i think that i am going to just go buy a 4400 in a couple weeks unless 2 things happen: 1) there is an indication that ATi/Matrox will be releasing something worthwhile in the very near future, or 2), there is an indication that the 128 MB ti4200 is going to be a killer overclocker. i already have a ti200 oc'ed to 250/530, so i don't think that i will be able to justify getting another 64 MB card that doesn't outperform my current card by that high of a margin. also, since a friend of mine has already agreed to buy my ti200 (for $90 or so, which is only $10 less than i paid for it new) when i upgrade, the ti4400 wouldn't be THAT much more expensive than the 4200.

This is going to be THE card to buy for overclockers. I just hope the pricepoint falls where most people think it will. I currently have no "gaming" box but if I did I would definately be buying one.
