Hey, maybe LBT manages a short 18A run for some special edition SKU. For the faithful priced 25% more over TSMC silicon due to low volume and yield issuesI want my perf/w improvements

Also, while the "for science" testing has value, throw the cards in the gen 3 and 4 slot systems they are much more likely to be found in. The GOAT will start to shine.Only at the "correct settings" meaning under 8GB.
This N1X is the most interesting Blackwell product. Much more interesting than 5090s or supers with more VRAM
true if it fails again at least Linux support will be greatN1X being interesting or not will almost entirely depend on how well it can run win32 apps. That's what pretty much what's been killing all Windows+ARM initiatives for over a dozen years (starting with Surface RT).

Strix Halo's iGPU has a little over half the RAM bandwidth of the 5060 which it then needs to share with a whopping 16 cores Zen5.Even then, interesting for what? It will likely cost more than Strix Halo but perform worse for gaming.
It has as many Shader cores as an RTX 5070, but less memory BW than a 5060. So maybe in Windows you can game on it like it's a 5060, and low end CPU.

I don't know how much L2 the iGPU in N1X but it should be a similar 32MB.
The way we're headed, the 6070 will have a 128bit memory bus. When is Blackwell next coming??
This generation has been so boring…
Barely any uplifts from my 4070 super. I hope next gen is based on a N3 node. I want my perf/w improvements
But they will pay someone to test it against 2080 Ti and then the headlines will be, 6070 beats 2080 Ti! Throw the Ti in the garbage and get on with the times! The way we're headed, the 6070 will have a 128bit memory bus.
I hate Gigabyte so much right now I am on the verge of melting down and striking out. First I get the 4090 Aorus Master and the first one destroys my entire computer and itself. I RMA the card through newegg since I just got it. Then the second destroys its own LCD module via bad firmware update in new computer. I had to pay over $200 to ship this one back as it had to be insured. I gave away the 3rd one to my nephew. Now my Gigabyte 5090 Aorus has self destructed the LCD module again via their shit software firmware update. If they don't RMA this card without charging me shipping I may go an hero.
Don't worry, you'll get over it. Gigabyte is preparing a killer 6090 with two LCD panels.I hate Gigabyte so much right now
I read one horror story about that and never installed their LCD firmware on my RX 6800 AORUS card. Also warned the buyer about it when I sold it recently. I wonder if you have trouble with stuff in general where your inner voice tells you don't do it and you do it anywayNow my Gigabyte 5090 Aorus has self destructed the LCD module again via their shit software firmware update.

Because I'm an idiot. I'm going to call them in the morning. I will be made whole one way or another. Even if I have to waste their time on the phone for hours on end. I once spent 4 hours wasting Google's chat support time to get a refund on a $5 ebook they screwed me on. Finally they just gave up. I will not pay for shipping this time. Why do you keep buying Gigabyte cards?
Before caller ID was such a common thing (and subsequently. auto phone systems), I harassed companies into doing what I wanted in tech support situations. Every time they picked up the phone, it was me on the other end. Ah, good times...They better make this right or this might be the end of my computi

I did convince many companies to make exceptions to company policy. In my defense, if I call a company to tell them of a problem with its product, its product is the problem. You, the Baba Yaga in the nightmares of tech support people![]()
